When you’ve played football as long as Notre Dame has your record books end up looking pretty impressive.  That’s the case when you look at the best quarterbacks to ever play at Notre Dame.

So who holds the records and even more impressively, who are some of the megastars you remember who didn’t make the top 10?

Dwayne Haskins takes selfie in lieu of taking final victory snap for Redskins

Former Ohio State and current Washington Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins was taking a selfie with fans instead of finishing off a victory Sunday.

Well, here’s something you don’t see everyday. You know we’ve reached the age of the Millennial quarterback when a selfie takes precedent over a play on the field.

That’s exactly what happened to former Ohio State and current Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins according to an article by USA TODAY. The Redskins got their first win of the season Sunday over the Detroit Lions 19-16, and apparently the former Heisman finalist wanted to commemorate the moment via Social Media.

But, for someone else. Hey, after all, he’s for the people.

An interception sealed the deal, but when the team went into victory formation, the coaching staff and offensive players couldn’t find Haskins anywhere, Instead, former starter turned backup QB Case Kennum had to go in and finish things off.

“We were looking for (Haskins). We were looking for him, too,” Callahan told reporters after the game. “I think he thought the game was over. I think he thought it was over. So yeah, I’ll have to find out a little bit more.”

Callahan later chastised Haskins somewhat. “No, I don’t laugh at it. I’m happy we won. We’ll address that.”

It’s okay Bill. We’re laughing for you.

There’s no doubt Haskins will take heat from the traditionalists. You can count Redskins great Joe Theisman in that camp. He gave permission for the rookie to wear his number, but he clearly wasn’t happy with the way he represented it Sunday.

Haskins had a little different version of things.

“I was so hype, I think I broke a water bottle,” Haskins said, when asked where he was on the last play of the game. “I look up and we’re in victory (formation). I thought the game was over with already. But I’ll get it next time.”

Hey, maybe he’s just working on his brand. If so, he might want to pick more social media influencers than a guy with just 178 followers. Here’s the actual selfie from Jamie Lopez-Verduzco. You can bet that will be pinned on his Twitter profile for a long time to come.

Apparently the fans around Haskins cared as much about the final kneel-down as he did. After all, everybody is all smiles. Well, except for Joe Theisman.
