Jeff Hosler spoke to the media after the best start in program history

Michigan State women’s soccer is off to the best start in program history, jumping out to an 8-0-2 start, and coming fresh off of a win over No. 9 Penn State, in Happy Valley.

The Spartans are looking to continue their hot run over the final eight games in the season, while  gearing up for the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments.

MSU’s Jeff Hosler took the podium for a press conference before the start of conference play

Michigan State women’s soccer coach Jeff Hosler has had a hot start to the 2024 season on the pitch. The Spartans are currently ranked No. 5 in the nation after a 5-0-2 start including a win over No. 15 Notre Dame and ties against No. 9 Arkansas and No. 15 Xavier.

The Spartans will be back in action, starting Big Ten play on Thursday in College Park against Maryland. Before that, Hosler spoke to the media on Monday, discussing his team and the upcoming slate of Big Ten conference games.

Jeff Hosler wins Big Ten coach of the year award

Jeff Hosler is your Big Ten coach of the year!

Michigan State women’s soccer is having a historical season in 2022-23 under Jeff Hosler who is in his second season as the head man of the Spartans program.

The Spartans have claimed the Big Ten regular season championship after an undefeated Big Ten season. The team is also ranked at No. 6 in the nation heading into the postseason.

Hosler had done wonders with Grand Valley State’s program and it seems that he is going to do the same in East Lansing.

Michigan State women’s soccer wins Big Ten championship for second straight year

MSU has clinched the 2023 Big Ten Championship, their second straight title:

Michigan State women’s soccer has just clinched the 2023 Big Ten Regular Season Championship, their back to back Big Ten championship after winning the crown in 2022.

In 2023, the Spartans held a 12-3-3 record overall, but a 7-1-2 record inside the conference on their way to the championship.

As the one seed in the Big Ten Tournament, the Spartans will face off Iowa on their quest for a conference tournament championship.
