Michigan State women’s soccer wins Big Ten championship for second straight year

MSU has clinched the 2023 Big Ten Championship, their second straight title:

Michigan State women’s soccer has just clinched the 2023 Big Ten Regular Season Championship, their back to back Big Ten championship after winning the crown in 2022.

In 2023, the Spartans held a 12-3-3 record overall, but a 7-1-2 record inside the conference on their way to the championship.

As the one seed in the Big Ten Tournament, the Spartans will face off Iowa on their quest for a conference tournament championship.

Michigan State women’s soccer has won the 2022 Big Ten Championship

The Michigan State women’s soccer team has clinched a share of the 2022 regular season Big Ten Championship after defeating Ohio State 1-0 in Columbus.

The 2022 championship is the first in the program’s history.

The Spartans rise under Jeff Hosler has been monumental, going from just 4 total wins in the Big Ten in four years from 2017-2021, to a Big Ten Championship and a top 5 national ranking in 2022.

The Spartans are currently 13-1-3 and will have one final regular season game against Rutgers before the postseason begins.
