10 players who stood out in Alabama’s A-Day game on Saturday

Roll Tide Wire takes a look at 10 players that stood out in Alabama’s A-Day game on Saturday afternoon.

Alabama held its annual spring game on Saturday, April 22. There were some key returners as well as plenty of newcomers who put their skillset on display for the Alabama fanbase.

The Tide saw several star players enter the NFL draft in the offseason. This simply means that other players will have to step up to replace them.

There were a couple of players that stood out more than others in the A-Day spring game. With spring practices wrapping up, there will be a handful of others that join the team in the summer.

What we learned from Alabama’s second scrimmage of the spring

Alabama completed its second scrimmage of the spring on Saturday. Here is what we have learned!

On Saturday afternoon from inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, Nick Saban and the Alabama football team completed their second scrimmage of the spring.

Next Saturday, the Crimson Tide will close out spring activities with the annual A-Day game where fans and media will get an up-close look at what the 2023 Alabama football team could potentially look like.

For now, fans still have questions about the team, especially certain position battles. While not a ton of information is released from these closed scrimmages, there are several things that we have learned.

Let’s take a look at some of the key details from Saturday’s scrimmage!

Five second-year players Alabama fans should watch this spring

There are several second-year players who could generate some buzz this spring!

As February ends, spring football approaches. In just a couple of weeks, [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama football team will return to the practice field and begin on-field work for the 2023 season.

Alabama will have to replace significant pieces from last year’s squad, most notably quarterback Bryce Young and outside linebacker Will Anderson.

Each spring, Tide fans get a glimpse of what the future holds for the Alabama football team, and I expect some second-year players to step up and generate some buzz heading into the 2023 season.

Today we are look at five second-year players I believe could make some noise this spring.

To clarify, this is a list of players who did not have much of an impact as true freshmen in 2022. So players such as Tyler Booker, Isaiah Bond and Kobe Prentice will not be a part of this group.
