Ohio State football offers running back scholarship

Ohio State football offers running back scholarship #GoBucks

Ohio State football is currently on a war path in regard to the recruiting trail and while the majority of the focus is on the class of 2025, the coaching staff is always thinking ahead. It looks like Carlos Locklyn has pulled the trigger on another offer to a star running back in the class of 2027.

Jakoby Dixon is not yet rated by most major recruiting services like 247Sports, but the star from Brenham, Texas, will be ranked high when his time comes. The sophomore had a jaw-dropping statistical output a few weeks ago, scoring seven rushing touchdowns and even earned a score through the air. Rushing for 291 yards and averaging a smooth seven yards per carry will make headlines and apparently the Buckeye coaching staff saw them.

Dixon is a unique prospect as he only stands at 5-foot, 9-inches and 183 pounds, but he runs with serious power. He will no doubt be much larger before he lands on a college campus.
