Oklahoma Sooners offer 2026 OT from Missouri

The Oklahoma Sooners offer 2026 offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell out of Missouri.

Just because we haven’t finished the [autotag]2024 recruiting cycle[/autotag] doesn’t mean the coaches aren’t already laying the groundwork for future classes.

We’ve already seen 2025 with a pair of commitments in Kevin Sperry and Gracen Harris, but the offers are already rolling for the 2026 recruiting cycle.

This one comes in the form of a 6-foot-8, 270-pound offensive tackle from Nixa, Missouri, Jackson Cantwell.

This offer is one of several following Oklahoma’s camp they held this weekend.

Cantwell said on his Twitter page that he was not able to attend the event on June 1 due to some change of plans. However, he would be making the trip up on Friday, June 2 for an unofficial visit.

Later in the day on June 3, he followed up on his previous tweet talking about how much fun he had and that he got an offer from the Sooners.

Now, 2026 is still a few years out there so he currently doesn’t have any stars but if Bill Bedenbaugh thinks he’s good enough for an offer, I think his track record is good enough for OU fans to trust him.

Also, it’s not every day you find a kid his age who is already that big. According to his Hudl page, he already benches 420 pounds, cleans 315 pounds, and squats 470 pounds.

This kid appears to be headed for a bright future ahead.
