Jack Wood to run part-time for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in 2024

Jack Wood will run part-time in the No. 91 truck for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing during the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series season.

[autotag]McAnally-Hilgemann Racing[/autotag] announced on Wednesday morning that [autotag]Jack Wood[/autotag] will drive the No. 91 truck part-time in the NASCAR Truck Series during the 2024 season. Wood would attempt to compete in 14 races while pulling double-duty in the No. 16 car on a full-time for Bill McAnally Racing in the ARCA Menards Series West.

In 2023, the 23-year-old driver competed in 13 races for Kyle Busch Motorsports before the organization sold its operations to Spire Motorsports. Wood finished the season with two top-10 finishes and a best finish of ninth place at Texas Motor Speedway. Wood is set to join Christian Eckes and Daniel Dye in the Truck Series.

Overall, this is a great partnership for both sides. Wood will be one of the championship contenders in the ARCA Menards Series West while competing in 14 Truck Series races. If all goes right, Wood could make the jump to full-time in 2025 if there are openings. This is a good fit for Wood and should allow him to grow as a driver.
