Dolphins injury report: Miami rules out three against the Carolina Panthers

Safety Brandon Jones is questionable for the matchup as well.

The Miami Dolphins held their final practice of the week on Friday in preparation for their Week 12 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Following the practice, the team released their injury report that listed three players who will not take part in Sunday’s game.

Tight end Adam Shaheen (knee), defensive back Elijah Campbell (toe/knee), and cornerback Trill Williams (hamstring) are all out against Carolina after not participating in practice.

The only player who was listed as questionable on Friday’s report was safety Brandon Jones (ankle/elbow) who was limited in practice throughout the week. It would be a huge loss if the former Texas Longhorn were inactive for the contest, as he could be helpful against both Christian McCaffrey and Cam Newton.

Safety Jevon Holland (knee/ankle), defensive tackle Christian Wilkins (quad), and linebacker Elandon Roberts (hip) were upgraded to full participants during the final practice of the week. They joined linebacker Jerome Baker (knee), safety Eric Rowe (hip), wide receiver Preston Williams (knee), and guard Robert Jones (wrist) in that group.

Brian Flores had an interesting tidbit in his media availability on Friday that insinuated rookie Tight End Hunter Long would finally see some action this week with Shaheen out. With this year’s third-round pick seeing only 29 offensive snaps to this point in the season, Sunday’s game will be an important one to watch. This could be the first time he gets a legitimate shot to be a part of the offense.

Colts vs. Bucs: Final injury report in Week 12

Here is the final injury report for the Colts and Bucs in Week 12.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-5) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3) released their final injury reports Friday with designations ahead of the Week 12 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

While the Colts didn’t rule any players out for the matchup on Friday—the second week in a row that’s happened—they do have two key players listed as questionable.

Here’s a look at the final injury report for the Colts in Week 12:

*DNP = Did Not Participate — LP = Limited Participant — FP = Full Participant*

Player Injury Wed. (11/24) Thur. (11/25) Fri. (11/26) Status
G Quenton Nelson Ankle DNP DNP FP Quest.
CB T.J. Carrie Knee LP FP FP
WR T.Y. Hilton Toe LP FP FP
LB Darius Leonard Ankle LP LP FP Quest.

Notes

  • LG Quenton Nelson logged a full practice on Friday, which is huge for his chance to play. Barring a setback with how he responds over the weekend, Nelson should play in Week 12.
  • The same goes for LB Darius Leonard, who will still be battling an ankle injury. But the fact that he was full on Friday is a big deal for his status.
  • S Khari Willis wasn’t designated to return to practice this week from the injured reserve list so it is unlikely he plays in Week 12.

Here is the final injury report for the Bucs in Week 12:

*DNP = Did Not Participate — LP = Limited Participant — FP = Full Participant*

Player Injury Wed. (11/24) Thur. (11/25) Fri. (11/26) Status
WR Antonio Brown Ankle DNP DNP DNP Out

Jaguars final injury report for Week 12: CB Shaquill Griffin listed as lone player to sit vs. Falcons

The #Jaguars and #Falcons released their final injury reports of the week, and the Jags just have one player listed in the status column as expected.

The Jacksonville Jaguars released their final injury report for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons Friday afternoon, and as suspected, cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion) was the lone player to surface in the status column. Everyone else listed on the report was a full participant, including notables like running back James Robinson (heel/knee), linebacker Myles Jack (knee), and cornerback Tyson Campbell (shoulder), to name a few.

Griffin left the Jags’ last game before the first half with his injury. The injury possibly came on a play where he hit 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk during a 30-plus yard reception, but was unable to wrap him up.

Griffin’s injury will leave the Jags without their top cornerback, but with the Falcons’ passing offense ranking 21st, the Jags’ chances to win shouldn’t be significantly hurt. In fact, at one point, oddsmakers had the Falcons down as just 1.5-point favorites.

The Jags could roll with Tre Herndon as the starter in Griffin’s place. They also could roll with Nevin Lawson, who replaced Griffin last Sunday as Herndon was inactive.

As for the Falcons, linebacker Deion Jones (shoulder) and Running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) was ruled questionable. For a full preview of their full injury report, head here to the Falcons Wire for more.

Falcons Week 12 injury report: Deion Jones questionable vs. Jags

Deion Jones (shoulder )and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) are officially questionable for Sunday’s road game against the Jags.

When the Atlanta Falcons wrapped up Friday’s practice, there was a surprise name on the injury report. Linebacker Deion Jones, who wasn’t listed on the team’s Wednesday or Thursday practice reports, was limited on Friday with a shoulder injury.

Both Jones and with running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) are officially questionable for Sunday’s road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Let’s check out the complete injury report for Atlanta’s Week 12 matchup in Jacksonville.

Urban Meyer says CB Shaquill Griffin has been ruled out vs. Falcons

The Jags will be without their top cornerback when they take on the Falcons this week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be revealing their final injury report Friday afternoon, and when it’s released, Urban Meyer expects starting cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion) to be ruled OUT for the team’s game against Atlanta.

However, there was some good news aside from Griffin’s situation in terms of injuries as Meyer added that he expects to have starting running back James Robinson (knee/heel) and cornerback Tyson Campbell (shoulder) on the field Sunday.

“James Robinson should be good to go,” Meyer said Friday morning. “Shaq Griffin will not play. [Tyson Campbell] is good to go.”

Griffin sustained a concussion in the first half of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. The Jags didn’t reveal what play he sustained the concussion on, but it could’ve been on a tackle that he wasn’t able to complete on receiver Brandon Aiyuk that ended up being a 30-plus yard reception.

With Griffin expected to miss the game, the Jags have options to replace him. Tre Herndon, who was inactive last week against the 49ers can play on the outside, or the Jags could replace Griffin with the player who filled in for him Sunday in Nevin Lawson.

Griffin currently has 35 total tackles to his name this season and five pass breakups throughout the Jags’ first 10 games. He was the team’s biggest addition of the free agency period and is viewed as their top cornerback, but the Falcons’ passing offense is 21st, so the Jags may be able to hold their own without him this week.
