Chamarri Conner injury update: Latest status report for Chiefs DB

#Chiefs DB Chamarri Conner is dealing with a thumb injury. Here are the latest updates.

Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Chamarri Conner is listed on the team’s first injury report for Week 12.

While the Chiefs lost to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11, Conner was a huge asset for Kansas City in the hotly-contested matchup, notching eight tackles and an interception in the game.

Will he be present to help stop the Carolina Panthers on Sunday?

Chamarri Conner injury update

Conner is listed with a thumb injury, but it didn’t stop him from being a full participant in the Chiefs’ practice session on Wednesday.

How long will Chamarri Conner be out?

Conner was a full participant in Kansas City’s drills on Wednesday, so it seems likely Conner won’t need to miss any time due to his injury. Stay tuned for the latest on his condition.

Chiefs DB depth chart

Conner is expected to be available for Sunday’s tilt against the Panthers. Should he need time off the field his backup is Christian Roland-Wallace, who has proven to be a more than capable defender in limited action this season.

Broncos could get reinforcements from injured reserve this week

The Broncos have several players eligible to return from injured reserve and the physically unable to perform list this week.

Reinforcements could be on the way for the Denver Broncos this week.

Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds (finger) and running back Tyler Badie (back) are both eligible to return from IR, and safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (ACL) and linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles) are eligible to return from the physically unable to perform list.

This afternoon is the deadline for Turner-Yell to be activated to the 53-man roster. If he is not activated, DTY will spend the rest of the season on reserve. Sanders has one more week remaining on his 21-day window to return.

Here’s a look at the team’s IR/PUP players going into Week 12.

Broncos eligible to return from IR/PUP

  1. LB Drew Sanders: Eligible to return since Week 5
  2. DB Delarrin Turner-Yell: Eligible to return since Week 5
  3. RB Tyler Badie: Eligible to return since Week 9
  4. WR Josh Reynolds: Eligible to return since Week 10

The Broncos also have two players — linebacker Alex Singleton (ACL) and offensive lineman Quinn Bailey (ankle) — who are on season-ending IR.

Broncos on season-ending injured reserve

  1. LB Alex Singleton: Out for season
  2. OL Quinn Bailey: Out for season

Denver linebacker Kwon Alexander and fullback Michael Burton are also out of practice squad elevations, and they seem likely to end up back on the 53-man roster at some point this season. The Broncos will have to make some tough decisions to make room for returning players in the coming weeks.

Jordan Addison injury vs. Titans: Latest news on Vikings WR

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison left Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans in the fourth quarter with cramping issues.

The Minnesota Vikings have had somewhat of a bounce-back game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Quarterback Sam Darnold has made some big plays with his arm and legs, making several key scrambles to extend plays and keep the Vikings’ offense moving.

That offense has been running more smoothly than we’ve seen in weeks, and one of the key contributors to that has been wide receiver Jordan Addison. Unfortunately for the Vikings, Addison left the game in the fourth quarter with some cramping issues and will likely be out for the rest of the game.

Jordan Addison injury update

It’s unfortunate for the Vikings’ offense to have to operate without one of their key playmakers for the rest of the fourth quarter. According to the CBS broadcast crew, Addison is officially designated as questionable to return with cramps.

How long will Addison be out?

While Addison is being called questionable to return to the game, the Vikings are up 10 with less than 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Vikings’ defense has held up well, and gave the ball back to the offense. Minnesota will likely play it safe with Addison and keep him on the sidelines for the rest of the game.

On the positive side, cramps are a temporary issue, and Addison should be fine for next week’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Vikings wide receiver depth chart

With Addison on the sidelines, the Vikings will likely look more toward Jalen Nailor and Brandon Powell. Both receivers have already had their name called several times in the fourth quarter. Nailor just missed a touchdown catch, while Powell made a nice catch over the middle that was initially called incomplete but overturned after a challenge by head coach Kevin O’Connell.

Broncos inactives: Starting safety won’t play vs. Falcons

Broncos inactives: Zach Wilson, Brandon Jones (abdomen), Kris Abrams-Draine, Frank Crum, Calvin Throckmorton, Greg Dulcich, Eni Uwazurike.

The Denver Broncos have announced their list of seven inactive players for Sunday’s showdown with the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season.

The Broncos’ inactive players today are quarterback Zach Wilson*, safety Brandon Jones (abdomen), cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine, offensive tackle Frank Crum, offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton, tight end Greg Dulcich and defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike.

With Jones sidelined, Devon Key is set to play across from P.J. Locke at safety.

*Technically, Wilson is still available to play as the team’s emergency third-string quarterback behind starter Bo Nix and primary backup Jarrett Stidham, but he’s on the inactive list and does not count against the game-day roster. Wilson can play if both Nix and Stidham are injured.

With the exception of Wilson, these inactive players are members of the 53-man roster who are not eligible to play against the Falcons. They will be reactivated on Monday.

Broncos inactives vs. Falcons

  1. QB Zach Wilson (*emergency third QB)
  2. DB Brandon Jones (abdomen)
  3. CB Kris Abrams-Draine
  4. OT Frank Crum
  5. OL Calvin Throckmorton

Chiefs RB depth chart

With Hunt predicted to start in Buffalo today, behind him for support will be Samaje Perine, Carson Steele, and Clyde Edward-Helaire. One of these running backs may be inactive for Kansas City’s matchup against the Bills, but Hunt is not likely to need time off.

17 players listed on Bills’ injury report ahead of Week 11 matchup vs. Chiefs

See all the players who appeared on the #Bills’ injury report heading into Buffalo’s Week 11 matchup against the Kansas City #Chiefs.

The Buffalo Bills need every advantage they can get today to topple the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the NFL’s only undefeated team through 10 weeks of the regular season.

However, Buffalo is heading into Week 11 with 17 players on its injury report, so a win over the defending Super Bowl champions won’t come easy for the Bills this afternoon.

Star quarterback Josh Allen could find himself short of available targets, as the depth of Buffalo’s receiving corps has been decimated by injuries.

The Bills will be without starting wide receiver Keon Coleman and budding tight end Dalton Kincaid. Veteran wideout Amari Cooper is also listed as questionable, as well as starting offensive lineman Spencer Brown.

Take a look at the full report, which Chiefs senior team reporter Matt McMullen shared on Twitter:

Though Kansas City’s season has been plagued by injuries, their struggle to stay healthy pales in comparison to Buffalo’s current situation heading into Sunday’s game. The Bills may be forced to adjust on the fly to break the Chiefs’ impressive winning streak.
