Deuce Tatum trolled Jaylen Brown with a fake high five after the Celtics star had 40 points in the playoffs

Deuce Tatum hit Jaylen Brown with the “down low, too slow” move.

Celtics star Jaylen Brown had a fantastic game against the Pacers and after the victory, he was met with a surprise in the Boston locker room.

Brown, who scored 40 points while adding five rebounds, helped his team secure a 2-0 series lead over Indiana in the Eastern Conference Finals. It seemed like he was about to receive well-earned congratulations from Deuce Tatum, the son of fellow Boston star Jayson Tatum.

Just when it appeared like Brown was about to get a high five from the 6-year-old Deuce, however, he was met with a fake out. Instead, Deuce hit him with the classic “down low, too slow” gag.

That has to be a tough feeling if you’re Brown, but at least it’s nothing personal. After all, this is not the first time we have seen Deuce troll someone who wanted a high five.

He also left Donovan Mitchell hanging during a hilarious interaction last season.

If the Celtics keep winning and make the NBA Finals, expect to see more amazing moments featuring Deuce this postseason.

Will the injuries sustained in Game 2 affect the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers in Game 3?

Boston’s frontcourt got thinner, but Indy may have lost their best player for Game 3.

Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown may not have been named to an All-NBA team this week. But he took out whatever frustrations he may have had over the snub in a career-high matching 40-point night as he helped power the Celtics to a Game 2 win.

Boston now has a 2-0 lead in the 2024 Eastern Conference finals over the Indiana Pacers thanks to Brown and company, but head to Indianapolis for Game 3 of the series with a potentially injured Luke Kornet and Kristaps Porzingis still out. Indiana is looking at a potentially serious injury to star point guard Tyrese Halliburton, throwing all kinds of noise at how the game and series might play out.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast, Bobby Manning, Josue Pavon, Jimmy Toscano, A. Sherrod Blakely and John Zannis, did their best to divine the answers anyway on a recent episode. Check it out below!

Celtics Lab 261: Breaking down Boston’s Game 2 win vs. the Pacers, what to expect in Game 3

With injuries mounting on both sides, how will Game 2’s results impact the rest of the series for Boston?

The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 126-110 in Game 2 of the NBA’s 2024 Eastern Conference finals thanks to a career playoff-high matching 40 points from Jaylen Brown.

But it came at the expense of backup big man Luke Kornet’s wrist being sprained on a team already thin at center; will Boston be okay with Kornet on the bench?. On the other side of the court, however, we saw Pacers star Tyrese Halliburton leave the game injured in the second half with what initially appeared to be a re-aggravation of the hamstring injury that kept him out for significant time this season.

Will he be able to play when the series shifts pack to Indiana for Game 3, and if not, is a sweep incoming? The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast reacted to the win postgame from the Garden (excuse the Wi-Fi issues, please), seeing some small ball looks that paid off — and defensive lapses that did not.

PHOTOS: Boston vs. Indiana – Brown and Celtics cruise to 126-110 Game 2 win

Let’s take a look at some of the best moments captured in images in the Celtics’ Game 2 of their East finals series vs. the Pacers.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 126-110, taking a 2-0 series lead in the 2024 East finals. The next two games will be played in Indiana over the weekend, with the Celtics two wins away from a trip to the NBA Finals.

Jaylen Brown was the key for Boston tonight. He finished the game with 40 points on an efficient 14-for-27 shooting performance. Even during the stretches where the Celtics defense looked a little flat, Brown was able to manufacture offense. On the Indiana side of the equation, Pascal Siakam was also excellent. He had 28 points of his own. Indiana didn’t have enough firepower to keep pace otherwise, however, especially as All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton left the game early with a leg injury. The Pacers kept things moderately close thanks to a couple of second half 3-pointers, but it was an easy victory for the Celtics Thursday night.

Let’s take a look at some of the best moments captured in images in the Celtics’ Game 2 of their East finals series vs. the Pacers.

Grading the Boston Celtics’ play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals vs. the Indiana Pacers

Are there any ‘As’ to be had? Would we give anyone who played an ‘F’?

If you had to grade the play of individual Boston Celtics players for their play in Game 1 of the NBA’s 2024 Eastern Conference finals vs. the Indiana Pacers, which of them would get what grades? Are there any ‘As’ to be had? Would we give anyone who played an ‘F’?

The Celtics needed overtime to beat the Pacers 133-128 at TD Garden this past Tuesday (May 21) night. And while they managed to scrape up the heroics to get the win in the end, a number of Boston players had some notably bad nights against Indiana — particularly on the defensive end of the basketball court.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, handed out their Game 1 report card on Thursday; check it out for yourself in the clip embedded below.

Previewing Game 2 of the Boston Celtics – Indiana Pacers Eastern Conference finals

Will the Celtics make the mistake of trying to run with the Pacers again, which almost cost them Game 1?

Previewing Game 2 of the Boston Celtics – Indiana Pacers 2024 NBA Eastern Conference finals is no easy task given how close Game 1 was, with the Celtics escaping with a 133-128 overtime win at TD Garden this past Tuesday (May 21) night.

What will we see from Game 1 that worked for each team again? How will Boston and Indiana adjust? Will we see less Luke Kornet and Al Horford, and more Xavier Tillman and Jayson Tatum at center? Or will the Celtics make the mistake of trying to run with the Pacers again, which almost cost them Game 1?

Cohosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast, Bobby Manning, linked up with Caitlin Cooper to talk about the Celtics vs Pacers east finals, do a breakdown of Game 1 and look ahead to Game 2 tonight. Check it out below!

How the Boston Celtics escaped with a Game 1 win vs. the Indiana Pacers

More importantly, can weak spots exposed in the narrow win be remedied in Game 2?

The Boston Celtics very nearly saw the team go down 0-1 to start of their 2024 NBA Eastern Conference finals series against the Indiana Pacers on their own home court of TD Garden this past Tuesday (May 21) night. But a clutch make from somehow not All-NBA Celtics forward Jaylen Brown from beyond the arc to push the game to overtime.

There, Boston won it 133-128, but there were a number of concerns raised, from the lack of a margin of error in this series to concerns about the frontcourt rotation. The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast, Bobby Manning, Josue Pavon, Jimmy Toscano, A. Sherrod Blakely and John Zannis, took a closer look after the victory.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say for yourself.

Boston Celtics squeak out Game 1 vs. Indiana Pacers of 2024 Eastern Conference finals in OT

What did we learn from the Celtics narrowly escaping defeat against a competent opponent?

The Boston Celtics squeaked out a 133-128 win in Game 1 vs. the Indiana Pacers of their 2024 Eastern Conference finals in overtime after a miraculous make from beyond the arc with Pacers forward Pascal Siakam draped all over him in the final seconds of regulation at TD Garden this past (May 23) Tuesday night.

What did we learn from the Celtics narrowly escaping defeat against a competent opponent? What can we expect to see in Game 2 of the series on Thursday (May 23) night? And will Boston’s frontcourt rotation hold up against Indiana while they await star Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis’ projected return in Game 4?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” and “Talkin’ Cs” podcasts, Jack Simone, Sam LaFrance, and Bobby Krivitsky, talked it out on a recent episode. Check it out below!

The Boston Celtics have discovered that the Indiana Pacers are a real problem for them to solve

Did Boston get this out of their system, or do these teams match up closer than we expected?

So far, while it is still early in their 2024 NBA Eastern Conference finals series vs. the Indiana Pacers, the Boston Celtics have discovered that the Pacers are a real problem for them to solve. They may have won Game 1 of the series, but they needed over time to make it happen, and the weakness of their frontcourt rotations at present were also exposed.

The Celtics struggled to maintain their leads before finally taking Game 1 from the Pacers in an extra period. Did Boston get this out of their system, or do these teams match up closer than we expected?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Bob Ryan, Jeff Goodman, and Gary Tanguay!” podcast took a closer look on a recent episode. Check it out below!

Celebrating the Boston Celtics’ Game 1 win vs. the Indiana Pacers while looking at what nearly cost them the game

What can we expect to see from the Celtics and the Pacers in Thursday night’s tilt at the Garden that’s different from what we saw in Game 1?

The Boston Celtics may have needed an extra period to defeat the Indiana Pacers 133-128 in Game 1 on their own home court of TD Garden this past Tuesday (May 21) night. But they did it and took a 1-0 series lead in the NBA’s 2024 Eastern Conference finals as a result.

How did they manage to pull it off? Why did they blow double-digit leads more than on time in the game? And what can we expect to see from the Celtics and the Pacers in Thursday (May 23) night’s tilt at the Garden that is different from what we saw in Game 1?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “First to the Floor” podcast, Jake Issenberg, Ben Vallis, and Wayne Spooney, did a deep dive on all aspects of the Game 1 victory postgame. Check it out below!
