The New Orleans Saints announced their list of inactive players for Monday night’s game with the Carolina Panthers. Rookie running back Kendre Miller is out again this week while managing a hamstring injury, but first-year defensive end Isaiah Foskey will play after an injury sidelined Payton Turner. Here’s who will be sidelined for each team:

Saints announce inactive players for season opener vs. Titans

The Saints Week 1 inactive players are headlined by their rookie class, including Kendre Miller and Isaiah Foskey. Here’s the
full list:

Both the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans head into the season opener without many injuries. The Saints had their shortest injury report in years this week. The Saints have already ruled out Tre’Quan Smith. That’s no surprise as he hasn’t practiced since suffering a groin injury earlier in training camp. J.T. Gray was also ruled out with a shoulder injury. Rookie Kendre Miller hasn’t participated all week due to a hamstring injury, but was labeled as questionable.

The Titans only had one player ruled out during the week of practice, cornerback Tre Avery. All other players on their injury report were upgraded to full participants before the week was over.

Here are the final inactives:

Saints announce inactive players vs. Panthers in Week 18

Saints announce inactive players vs. Panthers in Week 18, including right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (injury) and defensive end Payton Turner as a healthy scratch:

The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers reported their lists of inactive players for Week 18’s regular season finale, though a handful of them were preemptively ruled out due to injuries. That includes a couple of starters for the Saints, who were without cornerback Paulson Adebo (hamstring) and left guard Andrus Peat (ankle).

Other starters were questionable to play but ultimately got held out — names like right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (hip) and free safety Marcus Maye (shoulder). Backup defensive end Payton Turner was a healthy scratch along with a couple of players brought up from the practice squad.

Here’s who will not be on the field at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday:

Jaguars list all 7 questionable players as active vs. Titans

All 7 Jaguars players who were listed as questionable are good to go tonight.

All seven players who were listed as questionable by the Jacksonville Jaguars for a Week 18 matchup against the Tennessee Titans are active for the team’s Saturday night showdown for the AFC South.

It’s not too surprising as all seven players — which included quarterback Trevor Lawrence and outside linebacker Travon Walker — were expected to play in the regular season finale.

The list of inactives instead included four rookies and Jeremiah Ledbetter, who was recently promoted from the practice squad.

It’s all hands on deck for the Titans as well, with cornerback Kristian Fulton and wide receiver Treylon Burks, both of whom were listed as questionable, active Saturday.

Lawrence has been questionable for five straight games since suffering a toe sprain against the Detroit Lions, but he hasn’t missed a game. Walker missed two games due to an ankle sprain before returning last week against the Houston Texans.

The winner of the Saturday night game at TIAA Bank Field will be the AFC South champions. The Jaguars have a small chance at the postseason if they lose.

Patriots list seven inactives, including four starters, for Sunday’s game vs Dolphins

The Patriots will be dangerously thin at the cornerback position.

The New England Patriots will be dangerously thin at the cornerback position when heading into a must-win game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Even without Tua Tagovailoa under center at quarterback, the Dolphins will still have the luxury of Teddy Bridgewater throwing to elite speedsters at receiver with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Meanwhile, the Patriots will be without Jalen Mills and Marcus Jones.

It’s a big problem considering rookie cornerback Jack Jones went on injured reserve on Saturday.

The good news for the Patriots is they’ll be getting running back Damien Harris back. So they’ll have their two-headed monster in the offensive backfield with the former University of Alabama product and Rhamondre Stevenson carrying the ground load.

The Patriots will also catch a break with the Dolphins missing multiple key players as well.

Along with Tagovailoa, both tackles Eric Fisher and Terron Armstead have been ruled out for the game. The team will also be without veteran pass-rusher Bradley Chubb and defensive standout Xavien Howard.

Jalen Hurts out for Eagles, Gardner Minshew will start vs. Saints

Jalen Hurts is officially inactive for the Eagles, meaning backup QB Gardner Minshew will start against the Saints:

There we go: Jalen Hurts is officially out for the Philadelphia Eagles, meaning backup quarterback Gardner Minshew will start against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. You can find the full list of inactive players from both teams here.

Hurts has been limited in practice with a sprained throwing shoulder, putting his veteran backup in the starter’s spot — though Minshew didn’t win his first start for Philly a week ago, he put more points on the board (27) than the Saints have scored in all but two games this season. He isn’t a pushover.

But the Saints have beaten Minshew before when he was the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, limiting him to 14 completions on 29 pass attempts for just 163 passing yards. He was also intercepted by Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who is active for the first time in months on Sunday. We’ll see if that experience makes a difference.

Marshon Lattimore, Chris Olave active vs. Eagles; Full Saints inactive list for Week 17

Marshon Lattimore and Chris Olave are both active against the Eagles. Here’s the full Saints inactive list for Week 17’s game:

The New Orleans Saints are getting some much-needed reinforcements for Week 17’s climactic game with the Philadelphia Eagles. A loss on Sunday eliminates the Saints from playoff contention — so it’s good to see cornerback Marshon Lattimore and wide receiver Chris Olave up for this game. Both former Ohio State Buckeyes were questionable due to injuries, but they’ll each make their return in hopes of bringing their team a win. Starting linebacker Pete Werner is also available after a hamstring injury sidelined him.

Lattimore hasn’t played since exiting Week 5’s game with an abdominal injury that included a lacerated kidney and two broken ribs. Olave has missed time lately with a hamstring issue. They were each limited in practice this week, but the Saints activated them for Sunday’s game, and they should be game-changers against the Eagles. Werner’s backup Kaden Elliss has played really well in relief duty, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Saints get both linebackers on the field.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard to be inactive vs Titans

Pollard had not practiced this week with a thigh injury; Malik Davis will see increased action against the Titans’ 2nd-ranked run defense. | From @ToddBrock24f7

Tennessee will be without their rushing leader in Derrick Henry. Now the Cowboys will also be without half of their one-two ground-game punch.

Running back Tony Pollard will be inactive Thursday night when the Cowboys face the Titans in Nashville, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Pollard is just 12 yards shy of his first 1,000-yard season, but has been a non-participant in the team’s practices this week due to a thigh injury. He is currently ranked ninth in the league in rushing yards.

Malik Davis, the undrafted rookie out of Florida, stands to get plenty of work alongside and in a rotation with Ezekiel Elliott. He’s logged 23 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown in his first season as a pro. He’s been in on under 5% of the team’s offensive snaps, but has seen over a third of the Cowboys’ special teams plays.

“Malik’s a true pro. I don’t know if I’ve ever run across a rookie that’s just as mature as he is. He just handles all his business, on and off the field,” Elliott told reporters this week as Pollard’s status was cast further in doubt with each day. “Any moment he’s had, he’s played really good football, special teams and at running back. Very smart football player. He’s got very good running instincts. He can block. He can do it all.”

Now with Pollard out, Davis will have a chance to do it in primetime against Tennessee’s second-ranked run defense.

Commanders’ Week 16 inactive list vs. 49ers

Kam Curl is out, but Benjamin St-Juste and Chase Young are in for the Commanders.

[sendtonews_embed video_id=”KzszIKKNd3-2437806-7498″]

The Washington Commanders released their Week 16 inactives ahead of Saturday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers and starting safety Kam Curl is out.

Curl will miss his third game of the season after suffering an ankle injury in last week’s loss to the New York Giants. Curl missed the first two games of the season after undergoing hand surgery in the preseason.

Washington’s inactive list contained no other surprises:

  • QB Sam Howell
  • G Chris Paul
  • G Saahdiq Charles
  • DT Daniel Wise

Two noticeable absences on the inactive list are defensive end Chase Young and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste. Young will make his 2022 season debut after undergoing knee surgery late last year. St-Juste returns after missing the previous three games with an ankle injury.

Percy Butler and Jeremy Reaves will fill Curl’s role.
