How to watch 49ers vs. Rams today: Time, TV channel for Week 15

It’s 49ers vs Rams in Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season. Here’s how to watch, including time, channel, TV schedule and streaming info.

The San Francisco 49ers (6-7) can take a large step toward reentering the NFC West race and NFC playoffs picture with a win over the Los Angeles Rams (7-6) on Thursday night.

After three straight losses, the 49ers got right in a big way last week with a 38-13 romp over the Chicago Bears. Quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 325 passing yards and a pair of scores to receiver Jauan Jennings.

Rookie 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo was terrific as well, carrying 15 times for 78 yards and catching a pair of passes for 50 yards. Guerendo’s status against the Rams was listed as questionable on Wednesday, though.

Meanwhile, the Rams picked up one of the biggest wins of Week 14 in their 44-42 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 320 yards and a pair of scores in Los Angeles’ win over Buffalo.

The Rams won the two teams’ first meeting this season, 27-24, on Sept. 22. Los Angeles rallied back from a pair of 14-point deficits to stun the 49ers with a late, 37-yard Joshua Karty field goal.

With San Francisco trying to slice into the Seattle Seahawks‘ lead in the NFC West, Thursday night against the Rams is a must-win.

As kickoff approaches, here’s how to watch the 49ers game, including time and streaming information:

49ers vs Rams predictions, picks, odds

49ers 30, Rams 27: Operating on a short week and without left tackle Trent Williams, the 49ers still take advantage of a Rams secondary that has been giving up plenty of plays in the passing game.

Though it’s right down to the wire, San Francisco handles its business at home and moves its record back to .500 on the season.

Wisconsin basketball’s big game against Illinois will only be available on one streaming platform

Wisconsin basketball’s game against Illinois will only be available on one streaming platform

The 11th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers (8-2, 0-1 Big Ten) are on the road on Tuesday night for a critical early season game against No. 19 Illinois (6-2, 0-1 Big Ten).

As was the case for the Badgers’ recent contest against Michigan, the game will only be available via streaming on Peacock. That is the reality for many conference contests in this era of the Big Ten.

Related: Updated Big Ten basketball power rankings (Dec. 9): Wisconsin slides, Michigan surges

As a reminder, the streaming-exclusive games are part of the Big Ten’s new television deal with Fox, CBS and NBC. Peacock, an NBC property, has carried football and basketball games since the deal began last year.

Wisconsin is 1-1 in Peacock-exclusive games so far this season: the loss to Michigan and a big win over then-No. 9 Arizona

Both teams enter the important matchup after disappointing weeks. Wisconsin dropped tough contests against Michigan and at No. 5 Marquette, while Illinois fell to Northwestern in overtime.

The two projected to be among the Big Ten’s best through Feast Week and the season’s first month. A win on Tuesday is paramount for both as they look to return to that standing.

The Badgers and Illinois will tip off at 9 p.m. ET, 8 p.m. CT at State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois. Again, a Peacock subscription is required to watch the contest.

Where can I watch the final release of the CFP rankings for Ohio State football?

2024’s final CFP rankings will set the playoff bracket for Ohio State football. Here’s how to watch.

OK. Here. We. Go.

It’s time to finally understand the fate of Ohio State after all of the conference championship games took place this weekend. There’s no doubt the Buckeyes will be in the College Football Playoff field and most likely hosting a first-round game inside Ohio Stadium, but what seed they receive and what opponent will be traveling to frigid Columbus, Ohio, in December remains to be seen.

What we do know is that Ohio State has an opportunity to wash that sour taste from losing to Michigan for the fourth-straight year out of its mouth and go out there with a shot at winning a national championship.

If you landed here, there’s a good chance you are looking for a way to find and watch the final CFP rankings that set this whole thing in motion and tell us all what OSU and other teams have in front of them so we are happy to oblige.

College Football Playoff rankings release date:

Date: Sunday, November 8

What time is CFP rankings release?

Start Time: Noon ET

Ohio State football CFP rankings projection

That’s a good question. We went into detail on what we believe the entire field will look like and where we think the Buckeyes will land, but it really depends on a couple of factors. Does the CFP Committee honor the head-to-head win Ohio State had over Penn State? Where does Texas fall after its second loss? We believe OSU will rise up to be the No. 7 seed, but we’ll wait for the tap-dancing the committee does.

How many teams in College Football Playoff 2024?

For the first time, there will be 12 teams participating in the College Football Playoffs. There are five automatic bids for each of the Power Four conference champions and one to the highest-ranked non-Group of Four champion. The remaining seven slots are given to the seven at-large teams.

How does the College Football Playoff format work?

The top four seeds will be on a bye as the CFP kicks off. The next four highest-seeded teams will host on-campus playoff games as follows:

  • No. 5 vs No. 12, winner will play No. 4
  • No. 6 vs No. 11, winner will play No. 3
  • No. 7 vs No. 10, winner will play No. 2
  • No. 8 vs No. 9, winner will play No. 1

How to watch 49ers vs Bears today: Time, TV channel for Week 14

It’s 49ers vs Bears in Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season. Here’s how to watch, including time, channel, TV schedule and streaming info.

The San Francisco 49ers (5-7) enter Week 14 of the NFL season with a troubling injury report and with their playoff hopes on the verge of slipping away.

The 49ers have lost three straight and sit two games behind the Seattle Seahawks in the race for the NFC West title.

San Francisco is without its top two running backs. Christian McCaffrey is sidelined with a PCL injury and Jordan Mason is nursing a high ankle sprain. The 49ers will also be without starting left tackle Trent Williams and left guard Aaron Banks remains questionable as he recovers from a concussion.

In a game where something has to give, the Chicago Bears (4-8) enter on their own six-game losing streak.

Chicago’s embarrassing clock management to close its Thanksgiving Day loss at Detroit resulted in head coach Matt Eberflus’ firing. However, during its six-game losing streak, the Bears have lost four one-score games.

Here’s how to watch the 49ers game, including time, TV schedule and streaming information:

49ers 23, Bears 17: Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has had the Bears on the doorstep in four of their six straight losses. Any playoff hopes are officially over for San Francisco if they drop this one.

Despite a dicey injury report, Brock Purdy and the 49ers find a way to beat a Bears team facing its own turmoil.

The Kansas City Chiefs are headed back to the playoffs for a tenth-straight season and will look to earn an AFC West win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football in Week 14.

The Chargers have played well in head coach Jim Harbaugh’s first season, and quarterback Justin Herbert has put together an exceptional 2024 campaign.

How to watch College Football Playoff bracket reveal on Selection Sunday

Penn State fans will be glued to their screens on Sunday as the College Football Playoff bracket is finally revealed.

The first 12-team College Football Playoff bracket will officially be unveiled Sunday afternoon, and it will be very interesting to see how it all is put together following an eventful conference championship weekend. Big Ten champion Oregon and SEC champion Georgia are the easiest two teams to figure out in the seeding process, but just about everything else will be a bit of a guessing game. That includes exactly what is in store for Penn State, who came up short despite a valiant effort to keep pace with Oregon on Saturday night.

The College Football Playoff selection committee will be put under a microscope with its decision-making on Selection Sunday. The first year of the expanded playoff is full of debates over which teams should be hosting first-round games and conferences stumping for its members to be included. Penn State just wants to know who will be making a visit to Happy Valley for a first-round playoff game in Beaver Stadium, assuming the Nittany Lions are still in line for a home game.

Here is how and when to catch the reveal of the College Football Playoff bracket on Sunday.

What time are CFP rankings released?

Start Time: 12:00 p.m. ET

Penn State football CFP rankings projection

Penn State was ranked no. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings and slotted into the no. 5 seed in last week’s ranking. Texas losing in the SEC championship will likely move Penn State down a spot in the seeding, and where Penn State is seeded compared to 11-1 Notre Dame will be an interesting development to watch. Regardless of how it plays out, Penn State may still be in a position to host a first-round playoff game.

How many teams in College Football Playoff 2024?

For the first time, there will be 12 teams participating in the College Football Playoffs. There are five automatic bids for each of the Power Four conference champions and one to the highest-ranked Group of Five champion.

Big Ten champion Oregon and SEC champion Georgia will take on the top two seeds in the College Football Playoff. The other conference champions punching tickets to the playoff will include Big 12 champion Arizona State, ACC champion Clemson, and Mountain West Conference champion Boise State. Clemson’s last-second victory in the ACC championship game may have elevated Boise State and Arizona State into a first-round bye.

Chiefs vs. Chargers Week 14: How to watch, listen and stream

Everything you need to know to watch the Kansas City #Chiefs’ Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles #Chargers on ‘Sunday Night Football’

The Kansas City Chiefs became the first team to punch their ticket to the playoffs last week and are now gearing up to play the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead on Sunday.

Despite their Week 13 win, Chiefs players were less than thrilled with their performance on Friday night and promised better play moving forward.

Whether or not Kansas City plays better for the rest of the season remains to be seen, but Sunday’s matchup against a good Chargers team may serve as a litmus test.

Despite an 8-4 record, Los Angeles is playing their best football in a long time and is potentially the only other AFC West that will sniff the playoffs this season.

Expect the Chiefs to stay true to their word and put up a fight against a team that could easily hand them their second loss of the season.

Ohio State basketball vs. Rutgers: How to watch, stream the game

Ohio State looks to end a two game losing streak #GoBucks

The Ohio State men’s basketball team will look to regroup after getting embarrassed on the road in Maryland. The Buckeyes came out cold and the Terps couldn’t miss as OSU found themselves down 50-17 at halftime.

Now Jake Diebler and the Buckeyes return home to face a young but talented Rutgers team. The Scarlet Knights come to Columbus carrying a 5-3 record and are led by freshman phenom, Dylan Harper, who is averaging a whopping 23.8 points per game along with nearly five assists per game. Harper was the No. 1 rated combo guard and the No. 3 rated player overall in the 2024 recruiting class.

Can Ohio State rebound after dropping two games in a row? The Buckeyes will need to play much better than what they showed the past two games if they hope to end the skid.

Ohio State basketball vs. Maryland: How to watch, stream the game

Big Ten opener #GoBucks

After a heartbreaking loss to the Pitt Panthers, the Ohio State men’s team will hit the road for its first Big Ten contest of the year. The Buckeyes will head to College Park to take on the Maryland Terrapins.

In its last outing, Ohio State couldn’t quite put the Panthers away. The Bucks were up by as many as 12 points early in the second half before going ice cold, both from the field and the charity stripe. OSU would rally back from a deficit and even get the lead back. However, a foul on a three-point shot allowed Pitt to tie the game and send it to overtime where the Panthers would hit a buzzer-beater for the win.

Maryland comes into the contest at 7-1 on the season with the lone loss coming at the hands of No. 15 Marquette. It should be a great game to open conference play.
