The Kansas City Chiefs officially clinched their ninth consecutive AFC West title with a thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14 and are headed to Northeast Ohio to face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

This game is crucial for both teams aiming to secure a non-conference Quad 1 victory to enhance their resumes. Texas A&M has been on a winning streak, despite shooting just above 40%. Their aggressive play often disrupts opponents, leading to poor shot choices. However, this defensive approach can also result in a number of open three-point attempts for their rivals.

Head coach Buzz Williams will have to be careful with how he wants to deal with a Purdue team that shoots a lot of three and shoots them well. It’s becoming a tradition to have the Oregon Ducks quarterback go to the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York.

For the second straight season, the Ducks’ quarterback, this time being Dillon Gabriel with Bo Nix going last year, will be on hand for the Heisman presentation. Unfortunately, however, also for the second straight season, the Duck signal-caller isn’t expected to come back to Eugene with the hardware. That distinction happens to go to Travis Hunter of the Colorado Buffaloes.

But it’s fun to think about that three of the four finalists for college football’s most prestigious award played in the Pac-12 last season, and the other finalist, Ashton Jeanty, also plays out west with Boise State.

Just having Gabriel being at the presentation is just free publicity for the Ducks and a great recruiting pitch for head coach Dan Lanning for future Ducks.

Ohio State basketball vs. Auburn: How to watch, stream the game

The Ohio State men’s basketball team got back in the win column last Saturday with a win over Rutgers. After a week off from games, the Buckeyes get set for their toughest challenge of the season as they head to Atlanta for a matchup against No. 2 Auburn.

The game is part of the Holiday Hoopsgiving event at State Farm Arena, where the Atlanta Hawks play home contests. This will be the third of four games against SEC opponents this year. So far, Ohio State is 1-1 against the SEC, with a win over Texas and a loss to Texas A&M.

Auburn comes into the matchup with an impressive record of 8-1 on the season, with the Tigers one loss coming at the hands of the Duke Blue Devils in Durham. This is the first meeting ever between Ohio State and Auburn on the hardwood.

It’s 49ers vs Rams in Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season. Here’s how to watch, including time, channel, TV schedule and streaming info.

The San Francisco 49ers (6-7) can take a large step toward reentering the NFC West race and NFC playoffs picture with a win over the Los Angeles Rams (7-6) on Thursday night.

After three straight losses, the 49ers got right in a big way last week with a 38-13 romp over the Chicago Bears. Quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 325 passing yards and a pair of scores to receiver Jauan Jennings.

Rookie 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo was terrific as well, carrying 15 times for 78 yards and catching a pair of passes for 50 yards. Guerendo’s status against the Rams was listed as questionable on Wednesday, though.

Meanwhile, the Rams picked up one of the biggest wins of Week 14 in their 44-42 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 320 yards and a pair of scores in Los Angeles’ win over Buffalo.

The Rams won the two teams’ first meeting this season, 27-24, on Sept. 22. Los Angeles rallied back from a pair of 14-point deficits to stun the 49ers with a late, 37-yard Joshua Karty field goal.

With San Francisco trying to slice into the Seattle Seahawks‘ lead in the NFC West, Thursday night against the Rams is a must-win.

The Denver Broncos (8-5) are set to host the Indianapolis Colts (6-7) at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2:25 p.m. MT (4:25 p.m. ET).

The AFC showdown will be regionally televised on CBS. In-market fans can stream the Denver-Indianapolis game on FuboTV. Spero Dedes (play-by-play) and Adam Archuleta (analyst) will call the game for CBS with Aditi Kinkhabwala reporting from the sideline.

On the radio, the game will be locally broadcast on KOA Radio.

This game will have massive playoff implications in the AFC. Denver’s playoff chances would improve to 91% with a win and drop to 51% with a loss, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. Indy’s chances are 51% with a win and 6% with a loss.

The Colts lead the all-time series against the Broncos 15-14, including a 12-9 Indy victory in their most recent trip to Denver in 2022. The Broncos are considered betting favorites against the Colts in Week 15.

The 11th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers (8-2, 0-1 Big Ten) are on the road on Tuesday night for a critical early season game against No. 19 Illinois (6-2, 0-1 Big Ten).

As was the case for the Badgers’ recent contest against Michigan, the game will only be available via streaming on Peacock. That is the reality for many conference contests in this era of the Big Ten.

As a reminder, the streaming-exclusive games are part of the Big Ten’s new television deal with Fox, CBS and NBC. Peacock, an NBC property, has carried football and basketball games since the deal began last year.

Both teams enter the important matchup after disappointing weeks. Wisconsin dropped tough contests against Michigan and at No. 5 Marquette, while Illinois fell to Northwestern in overtime.

The two projected to be among the Big Ten’s best through Feast Week and the season’s first month. A win on Tuesday is paramount for both as they look to return to that standing.

That’s a good question. We went into detail on what we believe the entire field will look like and where we think the Buckeyes will land, but it really depends on a couple of factors. Does the CFP Committee honor the head-to-head win Ohio State had over Penn State? Where does Texas fall after its second loss? We believe OSU will rise up to be the No. 7 seed, but we’ll wait for the tap-dancing the committee does.

For the first time, there will be 12 teams participating in the College Football Playoffs. There are five automatic bids for each of the Power Four conference champions and one to the highest-ranked non-Group of Four champion. The remaining seven slots are given to the seven at-large teams.

The top four seeds will be on a bye as the CFP kicks off. The next four highest-seeded teams will host on-campus playoff games as follows:
