CFP rankings release show: Where to watch, live stream for Tennessee football

How to watch the second College Football Playoff top 25 rankings and bracket reveal ahead of the Tennessee-Georgia game in Week 12.

The 2024 college football season enters Week 12. Three games remain for Tennessee (8-1, 5-1 SEC) during the regular-season.

The Vols will play at Georgia on Saturday (7:30 p.m. EST, ABC). Tennessee will host its final regular-season home game against UTEP in Week 13, while playing at Vanderbilt in Week 14.

Tennessee was ranked No. 7 in the first College Football Playoff top 25 rankings following Week 10.

The Vols were also projected as a No. 8 seed. Tennessee was projected to host No. 9 seed Indiana in the first-round of the College Football Playoff at Neyland Stadium.

Below is TV, time and information for how to watch the College Football Playoff top 25 rankings on Tuesday.

For the first time, there will be 12 teams participating in the College Football Playoff. There are five automatic bids for each of the Power Four conference champions and one to the highest-ranked Group of Five champion. The remaining seven seeds are awarded to at-large teams.

How does the College Football Playoff format work?

Where can I watch the CFP rankings for Penn State football?

2024’s first CFP rankings will offer an updated look at the playoff bracket for Penn State football. Here’s how to watch.

After an eventful weekend of college football, including Penn State’s blowout win at home in the whiteout game against Washignton, the College Football Playoff selection committee will get back to work to organize an updated playoff ranking on Tuesday. With Miami and Georgia each taking losses and Alabama knocking out LSU this weekend, the playoff outlook should have some new looks going for it this week when the committee releases its second batch of College Football Playoff rankings. And while Penn State could potentially be moving up the rankings, their seeding in the projected playoff format may not be too different.

Penn State still finds itself in a difficult spot to grab one of the top four seeds in the playoff bracket as a path to the Big Ten championship game needs a decent amount of help still with only a few weeks remaining.

Penn State football CFP rankings projection

After debuting at No. 6 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings a week ago, the Nittany Lions should be ready to move up a spot or two this week as the selection committee gathers to form this week’s rankings. Penn State should move ahead of Georgia, who lost to Ole Miss this weekend for its second loss of the season. Miami could also be hit hard by the committee after losing its first game of the season, to Georgia Tech.

Some of the questions to be answered by the committee will be how the committee feels about Penn State compared to Tennessee, another 8-1 program. The Vols have a loss to Arkansas but a win over Alabama, which looks better this week. Penn State is ranked ahead of Tennessee in the AP Top 25 this week by two spots but trails the Vols by one spot in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll. Penn State was ranked one spot ahead of Tennessee last week in the playoff rankings.

The other lingering question is how the committee handles undefeated Indiana this week. The committee put the Hoosiers at No. 8 last week. Will the committee move the 10-0 Hoosiers up significantly this week? It will be interesting to see where BYU lands after pulling out a win against rival Utah to improve to 9-0.

The top two spots should be secured by Oregon and Ohio State, respectively, this week, and Texas figures to move up to No. 3 at the least this week.

As far as the playoff seedings are concerned, Penn State should be looking at the No. 6 or No. 7 seed after determining the top four seeds to potential conference champions.

The Washington Commanders (7-2) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) on Sunday in one of the best matchups of the weekend. It’s a battle between the NFC East and AFC North leaders.

Commanders vs. Steelers predictions, picks, odds

Commanders 20, Steelers 17: It’s tough to bet against Steelers coach Mike Tomlin coming off a bye. Under Tomlin, Pittsburgh is 13-4 off bye weeks. And the Steelers are well-rested, while the Commanders are banged up heading into Sunday’s game. In past times, going against Washington was an easy call. Things are different now. The Commanders have a quarterback. Jayden Daniels is better than Russell Wilson, which will be the difference in Sunday’s game.

How to watch Chiefs vs. Broncos today: Time, TV channel for Week 10

See everything you need to know to watch the Kansas City #Chiefs take on the Denver #Broncos in a Week 10 AFC West showdown on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs are undefeated through eight games and will look to keep their perfect season intact in Week 10 when they face the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

After Kansas City acquired veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and promising edge rusher Joshua Uche in October, the Chiefs are uniquely prepared to compete for a third consecutive Super Bowl title.

Though Hopkins got off to a slow start in his first game with Kansas City, the All-Pro pass-catcher put together an incredible two-touchdown performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football” in Week 9.

Expect quarterback Patrick Mahomes to continue looking Hopkins’ way against Denver.

Chiefs vs. Broncos Week 10: How to watch, listen and stream

Check out everything you need to know to watch the Kansas City #Chiefs face the Denver #Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 10.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the only undefeated team in the NFL heading into their Week 10 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

To say that the Chiefs have dominated the Broncos since Patrick Mahomes’ arrival in Kansas City would be an understatement. Mahomes, who joined the league in 2018, is 12-1 against Denver, which stands alone as the highest winning percentage of any quarterback against an opponent in the NFL.

After combining with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for two touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, Mahomes seems to have returned to form, and the pair should have no problem continuing to build chemistry when they face the Broncos on Sunday.

Texas A&M Basketball vs A&M-Commerce: Channel, time, streaming info

Watch Texas A&M vs A&M-Commerce game today. Here’s how to watch, time, TV schedule, live streaming info, and game odds.

Friday night the Texas A&M basketball team will step on the court at Reed Arena to face Texas A&M-Commerce (East Texas A&M) in their home opener.

The season opener didn’t go as planned for the Aggies, but they will have a chance to mark one in the win column before the weekend. In the five games played between the two teams the Aggies are a perfect 5-0 against the Lions with only the very first game being close.

This should be a comfortable win for Buzz William’s squad, but if we see another week of scoring droughts, poor perimeter defense, and missed free throws the game could be much closer than it should be. How they respond will show us where their mindset might be early this season.
