LOOK: Chiefs stars make fashionable entrance to Highmark Stadium before playoff matchup vs. Bills

#Chiefs stars wore their most fashionable outfits as they entered Highmark Stadium ahead of Kansas City’s playoff matchup against the #Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to play their first road playoff game of the Patrick Mahomes era on Sunday night, and the team’s players dressed for success as they entered Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York ahead of their matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Pre-game fashion has become a phenomenon around the NFL, especially in the hours before highly-anticipated primetime games. The league’s biggest stars become runway models on social media as they enter the locker room, often showing off the latest styles in menswear.

Sunday afternoon was no different for the Chiefs, who strutted their stuff and showed confidence before their Divisional round kickoff against Buffalo.

Reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes, clutch kicker Harrison Butker, and others could be seen making their grand entrances, sporting some high-end threads that got fans excited for the game.

Check out some of their most fashionable looks that were posted to Twitter:

Bills admonish fans about throwing snowballs ahead of matchup vs. Chiefs

#Bills fans were asked to not throw snowballs at Highmark Stadium ahead of Buffalo’s divisional playoff matchup against the #Chiefs.

The budding rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills has made for excellent football in recent matchups between the AFC powerhouses. Both teams have proven that they are legitimate championship contenders, and the atmosphere at Highmark Stadium on Sunday night is sure to be electric.

But, as snow descended over Western New York in recent weeks, fan behavior at Buffalo’s home games has been less than exemplary. The so-called “Bills Mafia” was seen throwing snowballs at Buffalo’s last game, which caused some controversy after their playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before their Divisional round matchup against Kansas City, Bills tackle Dion Dawkins was featured in a public service announcement released on Twitter that implored fans not to throw snowballs.

It is unclear whether Bufflao’s rowdy fans will choose to take heed of Dawkins’ plea, especially given the history between the Bills and the reigning Super Bowl champions.

With so much at stake for both teams, fan interference could be a serious concern for officials ahead of this matchup. In the past, Buffalo’s fans have been warned that throwing snowballs could cause referees to assess 15-yard penalties against the Bills.

Here’s how snowy Highmark Stadium looks ahead of Bills vs. Chiefs divisional playoff matchup

This video shows a lot of snow at Highmark Stadium:

Orchard Park and Highmark Stadium are snowy once again.

The Bills host the Chiefs in the upcoming divisional round on Sunday. Ahead of the wild-card game against the Steelers on Monday, the Bills asked fans to come help shovel out the stadium if they could.

Well, they’re asking again, and for good reason.

We’ll wait and see whether there are flurries during game day. But because of the snow that’s already fallen, the team needs your help.

If you can provide some assistance and are curious what exactly you’ll be getting yourself into, check out the WIVB-TV clip below.

It might be a lot of work:

Three charged with trespassing at site of new Bills stadium after win over Jets

Three charged with going into site of new #Bills stadium after #Jets win:

More fans have been charged with trespassing at the new Buffalo Bills stadium that is under construction near the current Highmark Stadium.

According to Erie County Sheriff John Garcia via WIVB-TV, three individuals were charged after the Bills’ 32-6 win over the Jets on Sunday: Kyle Bauer of West Seneca and Tanner Brunet, 31, and Owen Bainbridge, 25, both of whom are from Canada.

Per the report, the trio were attempting to take a picture inside the restricted zone.

This is the second time fans have been charged with trespassing at the construction area. The first time a 29-year-old in September did the same after allegedly taking a combination of drugs and hopping the fence.

WATCH: Bills’ Von Miller visits local Providence Farm Collective

WATCH: #Bills’ Von Miller visits local Providence Farm Collective:

After a lengthy stint on the sideline working through an ACL injury, Von Miller rejoined the Buffalo Bills in earlier this season and has steadily built up his performances.

But sacking quarterbacks isn’t Miller’s only passion. At Texas A&M, he studied poultry science and he owns a chicken farm.

The farm itself is 37 acres. For context, Highmark Stadium like all professional football fields is 1.32 acres.

During some time away from the field, Miller visited the Providence Farm Collective which is part of the Buffalo Bills Foundation’s focus on addressing child hunger.

The collective has a lot of immigrant refugees who live in Buffalo who farm the region, often working multiple jobs to feed their family. Miller spoke very highly of the collective in the full video, which can be found below:

Andre Reed named ‘Legend of the Game’ for Bills vs. Buccaneers

Andre Reed named ‘Legend of the Game’ for #Bills vs. #Buccaneers:

Andre Reed is ready to return to Buffalo. And he hopes to make you proud again, as the Bills (4-3) have announced that Reed will be back in Orchard Park and honored prior  the team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3).

Reed will be the “Legend of the Game.”  And the Buffalo Bills organization – and we assume fans – are extremely excited for his return:

Reed spent nearly every year out of the 16 seasons in the NFL with the Bills, wearing Buffalo blue from 1985 to 1999.

During his long tenured career he earned seven consecutive Pro Bowl nominations, winning four consecutive AFC championships before the final year of his career at another team. Following his retirement, Andre Reed’s impact on and off the field was honored as he deservedly made his way onto the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame in 2006 before eventually being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.

Reed noted to the team’s website that he has not been back in Buffalo for a couple seasons as he lives in California now, but he has been looking forward to his return to Western New York.

“Always excited to come up there,” Reed said. “The fan base has always been great there, you know, one of the best fan bases in the country.”

Prior to kickoff, he will pump up Bills Mafia ahead of the opening kick and team introductions.

Get to your seats early to see a Bills legend be warmly welcomed by fans and organization during his acknowledgement before the Bills take on the Buccaneers.

Do you currently have a season ticket for the Buffalo Bills and are curious what will happen once their new stadium opens? There is good news for you.

The Bills are launching a deposit campaign to create a priority list of potential season ticket holders for once their new venue opens.

Those interested in purchasing season tickets in the future Bills stadium can join the wait list by making a $150 deposit per seat. Those who already have season tickets will be ahead of others.

The new home of the Bills is projected to be smaller. It’s going to have a capacity of just over 60,000, about 10,000 fewer seats–And the team currently has 63,000 season ticket members.

Eventually those future season ticket holders will have to purchase personal seat licenses to buy tickets as well. That will be new in Buffalo but is routinely practiced across the NFL when new stadiums open.

At a groundbreaking ceremony last week, team owner Terry Pegula announced the new building will continue to carry the name Highmark Stadium when it opens in 2026.

Since last fall, renderings of the new facility have been released. Check back at Bills Wire throughout the construction process for the latest updates.
