Tampa Bay Buccaneers left tackle Tristan Wirfs is one of the best players in the NFL, and he’s giving you a behind-the-scenes look at some of his favorite plays.

After being an All-Pro at right tackle to start his NFL career, Wirfs made the seamless transition to the left side for the 2023 season, and remained one of the most dominant blockers in the league.

The Broncos are adding an underrated wide receiver on offense. Check out these Josh Reynolds highlights.

The Denver Broncos agreed to terms on a two-year deal with free agent wide receiver Josh Reynolds on Wednesday.

Reynolds is now set to join a wide receiver room that includes Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick and Marvin Mims (among others).

Before joining the Broncos, Reynolds spent three and a half years with the Detroit Lions, half a season with the Tennessee Titans and four years with the Los Angeles Rams. Here are some highlights from Reynolds’ time in Detroit:

Reynolds, 29, has totaled 220 receptions for 2,933 yards and 19 touchdowns in 107 career games (53 starts). Last year, Reynolds posted the second-most receptions (40) and receiving yards (608) of his career and he tied a career high with five touchdown catches.

Happy Birthday Ray Zellars!

Happy birthday Ray!

Birthday wishes go out to former Notre Dame running back Ray Zellars today.

Zellars spent from 1991-1994 in Notre Dame’s backfield, getting the vast majority of his playing time as a junior and senior.  He totaled 1,135 career rush yards and nine touchdowns at Notre Dame.

The most memorable of those nine scores came in his senior year against Purdue as his run is still talked about in certain circles.

Heck, one of our staffers here at Fighting Irish Wire called it his favorite Notre Dame play of all-time.  If you haven’t seen it before or would just like to watch it again (who wouldn’t?) then check out below.

The Pittsburgh product would go on to spend four years in the NFL, rushing for 11 career touchdowns between stops in New Orleans and Cincinnati.

White finished just shy of 1,000 yards rushing in 2023, but continued to be a valuable member of the passing game, racking up over 1,500 yards of total offense in his second NFL season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made it official Friday, re-signing linebacker Lavonte David to a new one-year deal.

One of the best linebackers in the NFL for more than a decade, David continues to set the standard across the league at his position, and has long been known for his ability to make splash plays in just about every way.

David has been particularly adept at forcing fumbles, currently ranking third among all active NFL players with 28, and trailing only Chandler Jones and Khalil Mack. David is the only player in the top 10 on that active list who isn’t a pass rusher.

WATCH: Wisconsin G Connor Essegian predicted dramatic overtime win over Purdue

Connor Essegian had a crystal ball:

Wisconsin basketball’s 75-74 overtime win over Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament semifinal was one of the program’s best wins in years.

For me, it’s the Badgers’ best victory since Chucky Hepburn’s banked-in buzzer-beater to beat Purdue and clinch the Big Ten title at the end of the 2021-22 regular season.

The performance had everything. It had questionable foul calls on and against Purdue star big man Zach Edey, a dramatic overtime-forcing buzzer beater from Hepburn and a classic back-and-forth finish with Max Klesmit’s basket with five seconds remaining proving to be the difference.

The Big Ten Network cameras were predictably right there for all of the action. As released on X Wednesday afternoon, the cameras actually caught Wisconsin guard Connor Essegian saying “this is gonna be iconic” right before Hepburn’s basket and the ensuing heroics.

Here some highlights of new Broncos linebacker Cody Barton from his time with the Seahawks and Commanders.

The Denver Broncos agreed to terms on a one-year contract with linebacker Cody Barton on Friday night.

Before landing in Denver, Barton previously started 16 games with the Seattle Seahawks (2019-2022) and 13 games with the Washington Commanders (2023). Here are some clips from his time with the Commanders last season:

Barton, 27, has totaled 352 tackles (including eight behind the line of scrimmage), nine pass breakups, seven quarterback hits, three interceptions, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 78 career games (29 starts). He has started 24 games over the last two seasons.

After losing Josey Jewell to the Carolina Panthers during NFL free agency, the Broncos signed Barton, presumably as a replacement. The sixth-year linebacker will be the favorite to start next to Alex Singleton in 2024, but Jonas Griffith will also get an opportunity to compete for a spot this summer. Denver’s depth at the position gets a big boost with Barton’s arrival.

They did just that, as Mayfield enjoyed the best season of his career, leading the Bucs to a third straight NFC South title, and bringing them within eight points of a trip to the NFC title game.

Mayfield was rewarded this offseason with a new three-year contract extension, locking him in as the Bucs’ starting quarterback for the foreseeable future.

The #Chiefs celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by sharing videos of Patrick Mahomes’ top highlights from Kansas City’s 2023 Super Bowl campaign.

The Kansas City Chiefs had no shortage of highlight plays during their 2023 Super Bowl LVIII campaign. Players like Trent McDuffie, L’Jarius Sneed, Isiah Pacheco, and Travis Kelce made their mark in the team’s latest championship season.

But Super Bowl LVIII MVP Patrick Mahomes was undeniably Kansas City’s most impactful contributor, and on St. Patrick’s Day, the Chiefs took to Twitter to celebrate his efforts with this video of his top-10 plays from 2023:

While Mahomes might not be the namesake of the Irish-themed holiday, there is never a bad time to re-live the magical moments that he created on the gridiron last season en route to winning his third Super Bowl ring.

Without him, Kansas City may have faltered in the playoffs or even fallen victim to a late-season skid and missed the postseason altogether.
