Jon Rahm and the world of golf show off their Halloween costumes

Who had the best costume?

Halloween has come and gone but that doesn’t mean we can’t look back at the best costumes the world of golf showed off on Monday.

Jon Rahm, the No. 5-ranked player in the Official World Golf Ranking, celebrated with his family by dressing up as characters from the movie The Lion King.

They even reenacted the famous lift scene, and yes, it’s adorable.

Others that posted on social media include European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, LPGA star Paula Creamer and LIV Golf’s Ian Poulter and Bubba Watson.

Tiger Woods made an appearance in the Team TaylorMade post, as did world No. 1 Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler and Tommy Fleetwood.

Myles Garrett hilariously trolls old teammate Baker Mayfield, other QBs with ‘Stranger Things’ Halloween decorations

NFL quarterbacks might not want to go to Myles Garrett’s house this Halloween.

For another year, NFL quarterbacks might want to avoid Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett’s house on Halloween.

Garrett has been known to go all-out with his Halloween decorations around this time of year, trolling the opposing QBs on the Browns’ schedule.

2022’s Garrett Halloween display borrowed inspiration from the latest season of Stranger Things, which is fitting since Garrett is used to flipping opposing QBs upside down when sacking them.

One of the QBs Garrett got to troll happened to be none other than his old Browns teammate Baker Mayfield, who was recently benched by the Carolina Panthers.

Well, nobody wants Vecna’s curse as much as they want to be slammed down by the league’s best pass rusher.

Despite some fun ribbing for his old Browns pal Mayfield, the quarterback who seems to have gotten it the worst is Cincinnati Bengals starter Joe Burrow.

Yikes, Joe! What song would he use to ward off being Vecna’s next victim? We’d guess it’d probably be something by Kid Cudi.

Garrett’s Halloween display is becoming a spooky treat for NFL fans, and a sore reminder for the league’s quarterbacks that there won’t be many stranger things they face during the season like a Garrett QB hit.

Not even Eleven can save you from one of those.

Notre Dame ready for lone exhibition against Truman State

Halloween basketball!

Notre Dame will have a chance at game action before the competition begins in earnest next week. On this Halloween, the Irish will welcome Truman State of Division II to the Purcell Pavilion for their only exhibition game on the schedule. If you’re in the South Bend area and aren’t interested in the holiday or just need a break from it, this game might be the perfect thing to focus on.

Even though the outcome of this game is a foregone conclusion, the Bulldogs surely must be honored to have the chance to come to South Bend and play a women’s basketball blue blood. That surely is the case for any school below the Division I level because the opportunity doesn’t always come along very often. The players will have a story they can tell their children and grandchildren, and a few of them just might be able to brag that they scored on [autotag]Olivia Miles[/autotag].

Chiefs DT Derrick Nnadi shares trick-or-treating advice for Halloween

#Chiefs DT Derrick Nnadi had some important advice for the youth in #ChiefsKingdom who plan to go trick-or-treating this Halloween.

Kansas City Chiefs DT Derrick Nnadi provided some valuable advice for all the youth in the Chiefs Kingdom trick-or-treating this Halloween.

During his event at the Boys & Girls Club KC during the bye week, Nnadi provided meals and handed out custom “Nnadi By Nature” trick-or-treat bags to celebrate one of his favorite holidays. He shared some important trick-or-treating advice by sharing a personal story from his childhood with Fox 4 Kansas City reporter Harold R. Kuntz.

“I’ll tell you one story,” Nnadi began. “My dad used to take half of my candy and give me the rest that I didn’t want. So that’s why I came up with a plan. What you do — you get two bags — you get one that’s the decoy bag that’s something like this where you put all the stuff you don’t want. Then you get a book bag and put all that Halloween candy in your book bag and you hide it. Give your parents the decoy bag, that way you have your treasure chest to yourself, you feel me?”

So if you have an older sibling or parent who is after your good candy, make sure to carry a decoy bag with you this Halloween.

Steve Gleason wins Halloween with creepy ‘Dexter’ costume at Saints-Raiders game

There were a lot of fans in costume at Sunday’s game between the Saints and Raiders on the eve of Halloween, but the legendary Steve Gleason won the day. See for yourself:

There’s no question who won Halloween this year: it’s Steve Gleason. The legendary former New Orleans Saints special teams ace was a guest on the sidelines at Sunday’s game with the Las Vegas Raiders, and he arrived in costume (as did many fans) to celebrate the holiday. Gleason wore a sheet of plastic wrap around his head with “Dexter” written in red across his forehead, in a startling reference back to the iconic Showtime TV series centering on a serial killer who hunts others like him.

Gleason later joked on Twitter that he wanted to “be an model of sacrifice & commitment to the Saints by holding my breath for the whole game.” It’s an alarming visual, but it was a relatively safe stunt for Gleason. He underwent a tracheotomy during his yearslong battle with ALS to allow him to breathe through an external tube connected to his throat, so he wasn’t in any danger here.

That’s not to say there’s no risk involved (and you definitely shouldn’t try a stunt like this at home), but Gleason himself has often said there’s risk in almost anything for someone in his position. His motto is to “Live impossible” and he’s still embodying it. It’s great to see him and his family catching up with old friends in the Superdome after all these years. That he’s able to joke around and celebrate a Saints victory just makes it a little more rewarding.

Lane Kiffin backs up Nick Saban, trolls Jimbo Fisher’s offseason comments

Lane Kiffin hilariously trolls Jimbo Fisher after Ole Miss win while simultaneously having Saban’s back!

Jimbo Fisher was at the top of the college world this offseason as Texas A&M posted the best recruiting class in history. Fisher then found himself to be the center of attention when he got into a war of words with Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin regarding the use of name, image, likeness (NIL).

Now, Fisher finds himself near the bottom of the SEC as his Aggies fell to Ole Miss and Kiffin 31-28 on Saturday night dropping them to 3-5 on the year.

Saban and Kiffin put some heat on Fisher for how he landed such an elite recruiting class after a lackluster on-the-field performance in 2021. Fisher took to the podium where he called both Saban and Kiffin clowns among other various claims, and Kiffin did not forget. And he is petty.

After the Ole Miss victory, Kiffin made some jokes about dressing up for Halloween as the Joker since Fisher called him a clown.

While on the surface it’s all jokes, it is personal to both Saban and Kiffin and they definitely didn’t forget Jimbo’s comments.
