Josh Allen gave the sweetest Hailee Steinfeld tribute in his NFL MVP speech

This was lovely.

Josh Allen gave a terrific speech at the 2025 NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday night, which he attended with his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld.

He thanked so many people when he won NFL MVP, from his fellow nominees to his parents to everyone in the Buffalo Bills organization, and then he thanked the actress who he gave a ring last year and who has been so supportive of him.

“You’ve been my rock, you are my best friend,” he said. “I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld looked fabulous on the NFL Honors red carpet

The superstar duo stunned on Thursday night.

The stars of the NFL gathered in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl on Thursday night for the NFL Honors. The major season awards are given out at the glamorous affair, meaning all the big names descend upon the red carpet.

Helmets and pads are swapped out for tuxedos, and the wives, girlfriends and partners have a chance to don gorgeous attire. Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who is one of the contenders for league MVP, hit the carpet with fiancée Hailee Steinfeld.

The pair looked fabulous, with the Hawkeye and True Grit actress stunning in a black strapless dress.

Hailee Steinfeld says the loveliest things about Josh Allen after Bills loss

This is the best.

We’re not sure if Hailee Steinfeld was at the AFC title game in which her fiancé Josh Allen lost to the Kansas City Chiefs yet again.

But what we do know is that Steinfeld said some really lovely things about Allen after the loss.

JOSH ALLEN SAID NICE THINGS ABOUT HER TOO: He gave her credit for his MVP season

Per E! Online: “To say the least, I am so proud of that man. Everything he’s done and everything that the team has done together, he is the hardest working person I know.”

Love that. A rough end to the season for Allen, but the support from her is the best.

Will we see Taylor Swift and Hailee Steinfeld together at Chiefs-Bills?

Will we see these two together on Sunday?

It’s a question we’ve asked before: given that Taylor Swift and Hailee Steinfeld are (used to be?) friends over the years, will we see them greet each other at the AFC title game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills?

It has to start with a different set of questions: will Swift attend the game (seems likely) to root on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce? And will Steinfeld travel to Kansas City for a road playoff game (not sure!) to root for her fiancé Josh Allen after they got engaged?

Some speculation: if they’re both in attendance, they’ll probably be in different suites to root on their respective significant others, so maybe there will be a private greeting that we might not see.

It’s a road game, for what it’s worth, so maybe that won’t help. But perhaps we could see her attend as the Bills are in win-or-go-home mode? We’ve seen no indication either way.

This was sweet.

So many folks have congratulated Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and actress/singer Hailee Steinfeld on getting engaged, a relationship that has helped the quarterback have an MVP-level season.

That included a billboard from Delaware North declaring “The Queen City has a new queen. Congratulations, Josh and Hailee” (see below). And Steinfeld sent a sweet message on her Beau Society newsletter in response: “There’s champagne, there’s beautifully written cards, and then there’s ‘congratulations on your engagement’ billboards. This was a wild and very sweet surprise. Thank you, Delaware North and Buffalo. I’m honored.”
