The Giants are the much hotter team and are a very solid road team, but the Dodgers have been dominant at home this season and do have the edge in recent matchups. The Dodgers are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings and coupled with their home record, it does make it hard for the Giants to take 2 in a row in Dodger Stadium. Bet very lightly here and if you believe in LA, then you can place a small wager on it for this bet.

The Giants should be able to make this a close game whether you believe they can continue their hot streak or not. This bet is fairly risky but with game 1 going into extras and the hot streak the Giants are on, I believe in them here. The O/U is still your safest play, however.

According to Statcast, Gonsolin grades in the 88th percentile or better in hard-hit rate, expected slugging percentage (xSLG) and barrel rate while Wood is in the 52nd percentile in hard-hit rate, barrel rate and xSLG.

Finally, L.A.’s bullpen is 1st in xFIP, exit velocity, hard-hit rate and WHIP.

The DODGERS (-112) were up against it heading into Game 4, but they responded with a ton of offense. The bats won’t be nearly as hot in this one, which shapes up as a potential pitcher’s duel.

Urias has been rock-solid all season, but Webb has been surprisingly good, too. He dominated the Dodgers in this very same venue in the series opener, so it won’t be easy for L.A.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

The GIANTS +1.5 (-190) are a little on the pricey side, but I like the home side catching the run and a half in this pivotal Game 5. I think the Dodgers scratch out the win and eliminate the Giants, but the home side will keep it within a run.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 6.5 (+100) is the lean, but it’s only worth a small-unit play. Urias and Webb have pitched well this season and so far in the postseason, however, both of these teams are dangerous offensively, so be careful.
