It’s Tuesday, June 14 and today’s play of the day is from Georgia versus Florida in 2012.
Florida, then ranked No. 2, was looking to stay undefeated when it faced 10th-ranked Georgia, but a stingy Georgia defense and this huge play by the Bulldog offense sealed the upset win for Georgia at EverBank Field.
Georgia held a one-point lead and faced a critical third down from the Florida 45-yard-line late in the fourth quarter. Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray stood in the pocket and delivered a strike under pressure to receiver Malcolm Mitchell, who somehow found the end zone.
