Brock Bowers’ 2nd TD of the day gives Georgia 31-0 lead over Yellowjackets

Brock Bowers if going OFF, here’s his 2nd TD of the day…

Georgia true freshman tight end Brock Bowers if having himself a huge day in Atlanta.

Bowers got on the board first with this huge 77-yard catch and run for a score in the first half.

Bowers found the endzone once more in Georgia’s first possession of the second half.

We’re not sure why Bowers is not a finalist for the Mackey Award, given to the nation’s top tight end.

The Napa, Cal. native has 3 catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns so far and already leads Georgia in receptions, yards and touchdowns on the season.

You can catch Bowers and the Bulldogs live on ABC.

Georgia strikes again with Ladd McConkey touchdown

The Stetson to McConkey connection is alive and well…

No. 1 Georgia is rolling right now in Atlanta.

It’s early in the second quarter and the Bulldogs lead Georgia Tech 17-0.

First it was a Jack Podlesny field goal, followed by a great touchdown pass from Stetson Bennett to Jermaine Burton and Ladd McConkey added to the Dawgs’ lead with an 11-yard touchdown catch.

Just a beautiful ball that found Jermaine Burton for 6…

George Pickens is back

Georgia’s offensive weapon is BACK

No. 1 Georgia just got maybe its best offensive weapon back.

Junior star receiver George Pickens entered the Bulldogs first drive versus Georgia tech, which marks the first time he’s seen the field all season after suffering an ACL tear in the spring.

Pickens led the Dawgs in receiving in both 2019 and 2020. He’ll be instrumental in UGA’s postseason if the Florida native is healthy enough to contribute.

Even having Pickens as a decoy may draw an extra defender his way and open up things more for the Georgia offense that is averaging 40.7 points per game.

It’s great to see a kid who has put in so much work to return get some playing time in the last game of the regular season.

You can catch Pickens and the Bulldogs live on ABC.

Updated Georgia injury report ahead of UGA vs. GT

Here’s an updated UGA injury report, including George Pickens, Jamaree Salyer and Chris Smith…

No. 1 Georgia (11-0) is set to take on Georgia Tech (3-8) in the latest installment of Clean Old Fashion Hate this Saturday.

The two programs did not meet last year due to COVID-19 complications.

The Bulldogs enter the matchup with two starters nursing injuries.

Senior left tackle Jamaree Salyer is nursing a foot injury that has held him out the last two games.

Senior defensive back Chris Smith is dealing with a sprained knee suffered last week in practice.

Sophomore running back Kendall Milton is working his way back from a MCL sprain that has held him out the last four games.

All three Dawgs have a shot at playing time versus the Yellowjackets.

There is some good news on the injury front for Georgia. This is the first week all season that redshirt sophomore receiver Dominick Blaylock is not on our list. Blaylock played last week versus Charleston Southern.

Perhaps the biggest injury storyline is star receiver George Pickens, who has been taking reps with the second and third string units this past week.

Pickens may be inline to get game snaps soon if he is cleared.
