The Black team won the 2022 Georgia football spring game 26-23 over the Red team. The Black team, which featured the first team offense moved the ball well against the Red team’s defense (first string defense).

The game had a few stars including tight ends Arik Gilbert and Oscar Delp. Running back Daijun Edwards, linebacker Nolan Smith, defensive tackle Warren Brinson, wide receiver Kearis Jackson, and defensive tackle Jalen Carter all had good performance.

UGA quarterback JT Daniels shines in extended highlights of Georgia football’s 2021 G-Day spring game.

The Georgia Bulldogs had a successful spring game with no major injuries. JT Daniels threw for three touchdown passes as the Red Team defeated the Black Team 28-23. JT Daniels and Adonai Mitchell showed a promising connection.

For the Black Team, Darnell Washington impressed with a huge play. Running back Kendall Milton had a strong performance and scored a touchdown. Devonte Wyatt recorded a pair of sacks defensively.

JT Daniels played extensively at quarterback. Georgia’s starting offense and defense battled it out in front of over 20,000 fans on a nice day at Sanford Stadium.

Daniels completed touchdown passes to Demetris Robertson, Adonai Mitchell, and Kearis Jackson. Running backs James Cook and Zamir White both impacted the game as runners and as receivers for the Red Team.

Carson Beck competed as the black team’s primary quarterback. Beck looks solid. He went 22-of-31 for 236 yards and two touchdowns.

Next up for Georgia is Clemson. The Bulldogs face the Tigers in Charlotte on Sept. 4. The Dawgs will return to Athens for their home-opener on Sept. 11 against UAB.

Georgia football is hosting its annual spring game from Sanford Stadium right now on the ESPN app.

The Black team took off early and got on the board first with a Kendall Milton rushing touchdown and senior running back Zamir White just took his turn in the end zone with a two-yard run to tie the game up 7-7 in the second quarter.

A few notable players to watch are freshman quarterback Carson Beck, freshman tight end Brock Bowers and freshman cornerback Kelee Ringo. All have looked particularly good today.
