The Brooklyn Nets are 1-1 without Kyrie Irving, Wednesday the team will be without the point guard again when it plays the Charlotte Hornets (6-8).

Irving was initially listed as questionable ahead of the Nets (5-8) game versus the Nuggets on Nov. 15 because of right shoulder impingement. The 27-year-old played through the pain in Denver but did not take the court for the team’s next game Saturday versus the Bulls. The Nets still managed to pick up and eight-point win in Chicago without Irving, but did not fair as well versus the Pacers Monday and fell 115-86.

Spencer Dinwiddie is starting at point guard with Irving out. Dinwiddie scored 24 points in Saturday’s win on 5-for-11 shooting (0-for-4 from three). He added 28 points in Monday’s loss with 9-for-21 shooting (4-for-8 from three).

Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is set to have an MRI on his right hamstring “in the next day or so,” NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday.

Hill suffered a hamstring injury on the last play of the first drive of Kansas City’s 24-17 win against the Chargers Monday night at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The 25-year-old left the field and was worked on by the medical staff on the sideline before heading to the locker room. Hill returned to the sideline but never re-entered the game Monday.

Hill missed four games this season (Week 2 through Week 5) with a sternum injury. He averages 16.5 yards per catch on 33 receptions for 543 yards in seven games this season. Hill has scored 5 touchdowns this year.

The Chiefs (7-4) lead the AFC West and are now in their bye week for Week 12.

All 32 owners, general managers and head coaches of NFL teams will be at the meetings in Palm Beach, Fla. in March.

When Nalley sent all of the teams’ unedited video footage from the workout Saturday in Atlanta, he also sent a note offering to have Kaepernick speak with the teams either in person or over the phone, but he is not optimistic his client will be signed.

WATCH: Antonio Brown apologizes to Robert Kraft on Instagram

Antonio Brown injected himself into headlines yet again for a post that is out of character by comparison to the many rants he has gone on throughout the fall.

Antonio Brown injected himself into headlines yet again Tuesday, this time for a social media post that is out of character by comparison to the many rants he has gone on throughout the fall.

A post the free-agent wide receiver shared on his Instagram account included a picture of him in his Patriots uniform Sept. 15 and was captioned, “Mr.Kraft I apologize sincerely to you and your organization! All I wanted to be was an asset to the organization; sorry for the bad media and the drama! Thank you sincerely, AB”

Brown played in only one game this season, helping the Patriots (9-1) past the Dolphins with four receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown. He was released the following week after the NFL opened an investigation in response to accusations of violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy — specifically, Brown is accused of sexual assault, harassment, and rape.

At different points since team owner Robert Kraft and the Patriots announced that Brown would no longer be a part of their team, Brown took to social media to attack the owner for his own legal case involving his visit to a massage parlor and engagement in sex acts.

A week after the NFL sat down with Brown for the first time since opening its investigation, Brown’s tone is apologetic.
