The PGA Tour is bringing real-life sports back to TV starting in June.

The PGA Tour is planning to bring real-life sports back to TV starting in June.

The Tour released its re-tooled schedule through the end of 2020 on Thursday, starting with the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, June 11-14.

That event, plus the three that follow — the RBC Heritage, the Travelers Championship and the Rocket Mortgage Classic — all will be closed to the public. The first event that is expected to include spectators (for now, at least) is the John Deere Classic, scheduled for July 9-12 in Silvis, Illinois.

A statement from the PGA Tour on Thursday said it “will continue to monitor the situation and follow the recommendations of local and state authorities in order to determine the most appropriate on-site access in each market.”

WATCH: Jameis Winston: ‘Kudos to me’ for being replaced by Tom Brady

It rarely feels good to be demoted at your job, but Jameis Winston — who was Tampa Bay’s starting quarterback for five seasons — is looking at the bright side: at least he’s being replaced by one of the greatest QBs ever to play the game.

It rarely feels good to be demoted at your job, but Jameis Winston — who was Tampa Bay’s starting quarterback for five seasons — is looking at the bright side: at least he’s being replaced by one of the greatest QBs ever to play the game.

“One thing about Tom Brady is it’s understood that he is the GOAT,” Winston said on FOX News on Wednesday while promoting a toll-free coronavirus hotline. “For you to get replaced by Tom Brady in a city that you love so much, I guess that’s kudos to me.”

Winston threw for 33 touchdowns in 2019, sitting only behind Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson for the league lead, but those 33 touchdowns also came with 30 interceptions.

Winston told FOX News he understands that it’s all a business and that he’s excited for wherever he goes next.

Brady takes the reins in Tampa Bay after 20 seasons and six Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots, agreeing on a two-year deal with the Bucs on March 18.

WATCH: Tiger Woods holds Champions Dinner for himself after Masters rescheduled for November

When Tiger Woods missed out on his Champions Dinner at Augusta National this week — an annual event honoring the previous year’s Masters winner — Woods hosted his own Champions Dinner with his family.

Like most of us these days, Tiger Woods is trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

So, when he missed out on his Champions Dinner at Augusta National this week — an annual event honoring the previous year’s Masters winner — Woods hosted his own Champions Dinner with his family.

Sadly, no word on what Woods selected for the menu, though you can see a sliver of a cupcake on the right side of the photo.

The 2020 Masters was postponed on March 13 in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The tournament has been rescheduled tentatively for November 9-15.

WATCH: Tom Brady says he felt he’d leave Patriots before 2019 season started

Brady says he had an idea it was his last year with New England before last season even started.

The sports world watched Tom Brady’s every move this offseason — and every Instagram post — to see if the quarterback would stay with this team of 20 years or step into free agency.

And while Brady himself didn’t know for sure what he was going to do after the 2019 season, he said on “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday that he had a strong feeling that season would be his last with the New England Patriots.

“I don’t think there was a final, final decision until it happened,” Brady said. “But I would say I probably knew before the start of last season that it was my last year. I knew that it was just, our time, you know — our time was coming to an end.”

The 42-year-old agreed to a two-year, $50 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March, leaving the only NFL team he’d suited up for in his two-decade pro career.

He told Stern that it was an emotional conversation with team owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick when he made his decision final.

“I was crying,” Brady said. “I’m a very emotional person. … I have a deep caring for the people that I work with, and I wish (them) nothing but the best.”

WATCH: MLB confirms considering self-contained season, but ‘has not settled on that option’

Arizona could become home base for all 30 MLB teams this summer.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported late Monday night that Arizona could become home base for all 30 MLB teams this summer, using the Diamondbacks’ Chase Field and spring training facilities throughout the Phoenix metro area to play a sequestered season of sorts.

Passan’s report indicates that players, coaching staff and essential personnel for all 30 teams would stay isolated in local hotels, leaving only to go to and from baseball games.

Major League Baseball confirmed on Tuesday that the league is looking into playing its 2020 season in a single location, but says it has not settled on any decisions just yet.

Here’s the complete statement from the league:

“MLB has been actively considering numerous contingency plans that would allow play to commence once the public health situation has improved to the point that it is safe to do so. While we have discussed the idea of staging games at one location as one potential option, we have not settled on that option or developed a detailed plan. While we continue to interact regularly with governmental and public health officials, we have not sought or received approval of any plan from federal, state and local officials, or the Players Association. The health and safety of our employees, players, fans and the public at large are paramount, and we are not ready at this time to endorse any particular format for staging games in light of the rapidly changing public health situation caused by the coronavirus.”

WATCH: MLB cancels London series between Cubs and Cardinals

Major League Baseball has canceled its two-game London Series between the Cubs and the Cardinals.

Major League Baseball has canceled the two-game London series between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals, which was set to be played at Olympic Stadium June 13-14.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred told MLB employees of the cancellation through a memo sent on Wednesday.

“We made the decision because it was unlikely the events would go forward, and timely cancellation allowed us to preserve important financial resources.”

The league had already canceled its Mexico City and Puerto Rico series in March. The Diamondbacks and Padres were set to play the first-ever regular-season games in Mexico City April 18-19. The Miami Marlins and New York Mets were scheduled to play in San Juan, Puerto Rico, April 28-30.

WATCH: NFL owners officially approve playoff expansion to 14 teams

The NFL is moving to a new playoff model in 2020.

As expected, NFL team owners officially approved the two-team playoff expansion on Tuesday, taking the field from 12 teams to 14 starting this fall.

The vote took place on a conference call after a league meeting set to take place in Palm Beach, Florida, was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new format will feature seven teams per conference. In years past, the top two seeds from the NFC and AFC all have enjoyed a first-round bye, but starting in 2020 only the No. 1 seeds will have a bye.

A release from the NFL says the six Wild Card games will be played on Saturday, Jan. 9 and Sunday, Jan. 10 in 2021.

WATCH: USTA converting site of U.S. Open into temporary medical facility

The USTA is converting the site of the U.S. Open, the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, into a 350-bed medical facility.

The U.S. Tennis Association could start construction as soon as Tuesday on a temporary medical facility at one of the country’s most iconic tennis venues.

Chris Widmaier, a spokesperson for the USTA, told the Wall Street Journal that the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the site of the U.S. Open in New York, will be converted into a 350-bed medical facility to help overwhelmed hospitals in the area.

Per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, New York leads the United States in confirmed cases with approximately 67,000 as of Tuesday.

Widmaier says the medical facility is meant to treat patients who have not contracted the coronavirus, but that could change.

“We’re there to do whatever the city and state needs,” Widmaier told the Wall Street Journal.

WATCH: Former Met Paul Lo Duca calls Alex Rodriguez ‘one of the fakest people out there’

Paul Lo Duca, who played for 11 years in MLB, says he’s not buying the “new and improved A-Rod.”

Former New York Met Paul Lo Duca is not holding back his feelings about New York Yankee-turned-analyst Alex Rodriguez, calling him “one of the fakest people out there.”

Lo Duca made that claim in an interview with New York radio station WFAN on Monday:

“People know I’m not a fan, and I’m sorry,” Lo Duca said. “Never will be a fan. I just think he’s one of the fakest people out there…. The way he gets put on a pedestal now is beyond me.”

Lo Duca and Rodriguez both were named in the Mitchell Report, the 409-page bombshell from 2007 that listed 89 Major League Baseball players alleged to have used steroids or performance-enhancing drugs. But Lo Duca says A-Rod’s repeated lies over the years have put him back in the public’s good graces.

Here’s a longer excerpt from his conversation with WFAN:

“I was in the Mitchell Report, something I’ll never be proud of and something that was a mistake of mine a long time ago,” he said. “But I owned up to it. I didn’t lie. Owned up to it immediately, it was over with, and people can judge me the way they want to judge me. … But when you completely lie about it for years after years after years after years, you cash in $260 million and people are like, ‘Well, he’s successful,’ well, hell yeah, he’s successful. … So, now his relationship with [Jennifer Lopez] has taken him to a level that he’s a saint. Give me a break!”

WATCH: Tokyo Olympics scheduled to start July 23, 2021

Not even a week after the 2020 Olympics were postponed the International Olympic Committee has finalized new dates for the Tokyo games.

About a week after the 2020 Olympics were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the International Olympic Committee has set new dates for 2021.

The Summer Games will start with opening ceremonies on Friday, July 23, and conclude Sunday, August 8.

From an IOC release sent Monday:

“These new dates give the health authorities and all involved in the organization of the Games the maximum time to deal with the constantly changing landscape and the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

IOC president Thomas Bach said last week that all athletes who have already qualified for the Summer Games will remain qualified for 2021. Per Bach, about 43% of the qualifying spots are still up for grabs.

The global event will still be formally referred to as the Tokyo 2020 Games.
