‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ reunion trailer reveals original Aunt Viv is back

Wow. This really happened.

We’ve seen the cast of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunite a few times over the last few years, but they haven’t quite had an official reunion just yet.

But that reunion that we’ve all been waiting for is coming. And it’s coming soon. On Friday, Will Smith shared the trailer for the upcoming HBO Max Fresh Prince reunion on Instagram.

The show was taped back in September in celebration of the hit sitcom’s 30th anniversary.  The entire cast showed up.

And when I say the entire cast, I mean the entire cast. Including someone who you probably never thought would be there — Janet Hubert aka The original Aunt Viv.

Take a look.

Shouts to OG Aunt Viv, man. What a pleasant surprise to see her back with the Banks family one last time.

She left the show after the first three seasons because, reportedly, she had beef with Will Smith. There was some bad blood between those two and they weren’t on speaking terms for years.

Now, it looks like the two are good. We saw them sitting together when Smith first posted pictures of the reunion.

Now, we’ll finally get to know what they talked about. And the internet is excited about their conversation along with the rest of the reunion show.

You absolutely love to see it. This is going to be good.

‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ fans will love the latest Google Easter Egg

The site will get flipped (but not upside-down).

Google has given us some fantastic nostalgia trips as of late with its Easter Eggs.

There was the recent Cha Cha Slide one in which you clicked and the site did the dance, and the one with all the Friends jokes.

And now, with the 30th anniversary (!) of the incredible Will Smith series upon us, Google has given us a fun one.

Simply type in “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” into Google and click on the “Fresh” California license plate (referenced in one of television’s greatest theme songs) on the right side of the page.

From there, your Google page turns gets flipped (not turned upside-down though), and looks really old.

From there, you can play around with the links, which produce some funny quotes from the series from the iconic handshake to, yes, Alfonso Ribeiro doing The Carlton. And when you click elsewhere on the page, you see Jazz get tossed.

So good!

Watch Will Smith and the Fresh Prince cast get emotional watching Uncle Phil

It just got a little dusty in here.

Believe it or not, it’s been 30 years since the first season of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air aired on television. If you were a kid growing up in the 90’s, there’s a strong chance that the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was one of your favorite shows growing up.

Earlier this week while on quarantine, the members of the cast celebrated their 30 year anniversary in a Zoom call that was broadcasted live on Snapchat.

During the call, the crew recalled some of their best memories of the show and some of their best times with James Avery — aka Uncle Phil — who passed away in 2013.

They got a chance to watch some of those memories and, man, did things get emotional. Take a look.

That just makes me teary…James Avery, James Avery, James Avery.” – Will Smith

What a moment. Nah, I’m not crying. It’s just the pollen outside. Wait, it’s raining? I meant to say it was a bit dusty in here, that’s all.

Avery was the rock that really held things down for the crew as Uncle Phil on set and as Avery off of it. He meant a lot to both the crew and fans of the show. It’s cool to see the rest of the cast paying homage like this.
