Eagles fans will now be able to bet on games and enjoy an interactive gambling experience at the Linc every Sunday.

As the centerpiece of a new multi-year sponsorship with FOX Bet – an industry leader in the mobile casino, poker, and sportsbook space – the Philadelphia Eagles announced that they will unveil a new FOX Bet branded interactive studio at Lincoln Financial Field.

Constructed from the ground up for the purpose of entertaining Eagles fans in an unprecedented way, the new studio will feature exclusive content across multiple platforms presented by FOX Bet. Led by Eagles on-air personalities and featuring Eagles Legends, with special guest appearances from FOX Bet’s esteemed contributors, the custom content will be produced by the Eagles in conjunction with FOX Bet. Additionally, FOX Bet will serve as the presenting sponsor of Eagles Edge, a new program airing on the team’s digital channels following all Eagles games. This new series, filmed on game days when the team is playing at home, will be broadcast across a number of digital team platforms, including the Eagles Official YouTube channel, the Eagles Official Mobile App, PhiladelphiaEagles.com, and Eagles social channels.

The sponsorship deal includes broadcast, digital and social media advertising on team channels, custom promotions, and a strong branding presence on game days. The deal also includes prominent messaging on the stadium’s LED boards and end zone boards, as well as signage on concourse levels. FOX Bet will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the Eagles Tailgate Crew – tailgating pods featuring Eagles Entertainment groups that interact with Eagles fans in the parking lots on game days when fans return.

“This new, fully integrated partnership with FOX Bet has enabled us to reimagine the way we deliver content to our fans in a fun and innovative way,” said Catherine Carlson, Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy, Philadelphia Eagles. “Every week during the NFL season, this new interactive studio will bring Eagles fans closer to the game through exclusive access and interviews, football commentary from some of the biggest on-air FOX Sports personalities, and many other surprises along the way. We look forward to growing our partnership with FOX Bet, an industry leader that continues to expand its footprint in the Philadelphia market.”

The FOX Bet Lounge will become available when the in-person sports experience returns to full capacity. It will be located on the service level adjacent to the player parking lot and locker rooms. The 4,000 square-foot premium lounge will be able to accommodate up to 380 fans.

The Bucs’ odds for winning the NFC in 2020 may surprise you

See what odds FOX Bet gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win the NFC in 2020.

The Buccaneers revamped their team this offseason with a fresh look and fresh start at the quarterback position. Gone is former number one pick Jameis Winston and in is Canton-bound Tom Brady, who built a Hall of Fame career in New England with the Patriots over 20 years, including six Super Bowl wins.

With Brady under center, the expectation is that the Bucs will finally end their postseason futility. Tampa Bay hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2007 and hasn’t won a postseason game since their victory in Super Bowl XXXVII following the 2002 season.

While Brady will instantly add experience at the quarterback position for a team that had the league’s third-best offense last season, are the Bucs serious contenders to win the NFC in 2020?

According to FOX Bet, they definitely are.

I would certainly have had the Bucs in the top five on this list, but in all honesty, I’m a little surprised their odds are so high. I’d have put the Seahawks and even the Cowboys ahead of them (yes, the Cowboys). The NFC is a tough conference. Brady seemed to have it easy in the AFC East for the past decade. I like Tampa Bay’s chances of returning to the postseason, but I’m not confident yet in saying they can win the NFC.

FOX Bet releases its line for Week 1’s Bucs-Saints game

See what the early line for the Bucs-Saints Week 1 opener is, according to FOX Bet.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping Tom Brady can bring his winning ways to Florida this season and help return the forlorn franchise back to the playoffs for the first time since 2007.

But the road to Super Bowl LV in Tampa won’t be an easy one for Brady and the Bucs. They’ll play five quarterbacks this season who have played in a Super Bowl, starting with their Week 1 opener against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

Brady facing Brees on the road in Week 1 may put an end to an impressive streak for the six-time Super Bowl champion, who will likely open as an underdog for the first time in ages.

FOX Bet released their Week 1 lines, and as expected, the Bucs are underdogs at +4.

The line for Brady’s new team isn’t too surprising. What is a bit of a stunner is the fact that his old team, the Patriots are -6.5 point favorites at home to the Dolphins. Miami has made big upgrades this offseason, including at quarterback with the drafting of Tua Tagovailoa. Plus, Miami beat the Patriots in Gillette Stadium in Week 17 last season, dropping the Patriots to the third seed in the playoffs.

I would definitely go with Miami in Week 1, but as for the Bucs, I’d wait and see how they perform in Week 1 before putting any money on them with confidence.

76ers pair with online sports book FOX Bet, NBA’s 1st team-specific partnership

The Sixers are now the league’s first franchise to ink a partnership with an online sports book.

The Philadelphia 76ers continue to blaze new ground, having become the first team in the NBA to officially partner with an online sports betting outlet.

The Sixers’ new venture partnering with FOX Bet, an online sports betting brand and NBA Authorized Gaming Operator, is the first such partnership in league history.

The collaboration, announced Monday, Nov. 25th, will allow, “near-live game replays on the 76ers Twitter, and will become the presenting partner of the 76ers radio game broadcast and for the teams ‘hype video’ played on the scoreboard leading into the fourth quarter of its home games,” according to a press release issued by FOX Bet (via Newsweek’s Matthew Impelli).

“To have the opportunity to tie the FOX Bet brand to one of the most iconic sports franchises in NBA history is absolutely thrilling,” FOX Bet CEO Robin Chhabra offered. “This agreement connects us with an extremely passionate local fanbase in a unique way.”

The NBA has been looking to sports betting as a novel source of revenue in recent years, first linking up with MGM Resorts in 2018 to secure the league’s first official ties to a sports bookmaking organization, making additional deals with DraftKings, Fanduel and the Stars Group (a co-creator of FOX Bet) since.

The new partnership is the first specifically associated with an individual franchise, though the Washington Wizards inked an agreement to provide a physical, brick-and-mortar sports betting operation to their arena in October, according to the Washington Post’s Rick Maese.

“For the leagues, this will be a really, really positive thing,” Wizards Governor Ted Leonsis said. “For the players, it will be a positive thing. We report the revenues for the rent. It grows the salary base; it grows the revenue base.”

Philadelphia, however, has no such plans for Wells Fargo Center and FOX Bet, instead content to keep their partnership internet-based, where 76ers fans can find preferential odds for certain bets placed on their favorite team.

SBC America’s Chris Murphy reports the alliance will also provide a number of home game promotions, LED signage, and courtside exposure in addition to cross-branded digital and traditional media exposure online and on the radio, so keep an eye out for the pairing making their home court debut soon.
