Falcons list inactives: Rookie defensive lineman to make debut

The Falcons have listed their inactives for Thursday Night Football matchup vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Atlanta Falcons (2-2) have listed their inactives for Thursday’s prime-time matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1). Rookie defensive lineman Ruke Orhorhoro is active for the first time all season.

Linebacker Troy Andersen was among seven players ruled out for Week 5. Defensive linemen Kenatavius Street and Brandon Dorlus are inactive along with offensive linemen Brandon Parker and Elijah Wilkinson.

As for this week’s practice squad elevations, the team has promoted offensive lineman Matt Hennessy and linebacker Josh Woods to the active roster for Thursday night’s division battle in Atlanta.

Hennessy provides some depth behind center Ryan Neuzil, who’s filling in for injured center Drew Dalman. Woods will help fill in for linebacker Troy Andersen, who was ruled out with a knee injury.

The Falcons are 1.5-point favorites over the Buccaneers entering Week 5. Tonight’s game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.

Seahawks Week 3 Inactives: 3 cornerbacks ruled out against Falcons

Here are the inactives lists for both teams.

The Seattle Seahawks will kick off their Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons about an hour and a half from now. They’ll be down a few key guys, including three of their cornerbacks. On the other side, Atlanta will be missing a couple linebackers, including the underrated Nick Kwiatkoski.

Once again, Will Grier will be backing up Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback. With Daley and Schofield both out, the Panthers can’t afford any injuries at the guard positions.

On the other side, Atlanta will be without the following players:

DT Deadrin Senat

Jones is of course the Falcons’ most-talented player and the best wide receiver on the planet, so his absence is a huge deal. This should enable Carolina’s defense to focus on stopping Calvin Ridley, who toasted them in their two meetings last year.

The Atlanta Falcons released their list of inactives for today’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Atlanta Falcons play the first game of their 2020 season at 1 p.m. ET today against the visiting Seattle Seahawks.

According to the team’s inactives list, CB Kendall Sheffield, RB Qadree Ollison, OT Timon Parris and DE Charles Harris won’t be suiting up for the Falcons’ season opener.

See which players are inactive for today’s Week 17 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play host to the Atlanta Falcons today in their Week 17 finale. Both teams had slow starts to the season but have made a strong second half surge that they’ll look to carry into the offseason.

The Falcons recently announced that head coach Dan Quinn, who’d been on the hot seat all year because of the team’s 1-7 start, would return in 2020. The Bucs, meanwhile, seems committed to bringing back quarterback Jameis Winston for at least one more year, despite his league-leading 28 interceptions.
