Ohio State will host ESPN’s College Gameday for top-5 battle with Indiana

Ohio State football is no stranger to ESPN’s College Gameday, and it’ll see the event in Columbus on Saturday for its battle with Indiana.

Ohio State football is one of the best programs in the country, currently sitting No. 2 in almost every major poll, so it often gets to play following the hit ESPN show College Gameday.

The show will be returning to Columbus.

The Buckeyes will be playing following the event on campus for the second time this season. The first time College Gameday was in Eugene for the Buckeyes battle with the No. 1-ranked Oregon Ducks.

Here’s the official release from the show’s Twitter/X account.

Indiana, which has former James Madison head coach Curt Cignetti running the show, is undefeated this season. While its strength of schedule is certainly questionable, it has yet to lose, and that’s impressive in and of itself.

The Hoosiers were off this past Saturday and beat the Michigan Wolverines 20-15 the week prior. They have a few dominant wins over Nebraska 56-7 and Michigan State 47-10 over the last month.

Currently sitting 5th in the country, Indiana will get a chance to prove itself on a national stage. That said, FOX already announced this will be the game for its Big Noon Kickoff as well.

Expect a high-profile battle in Columbus on Saturday.
