Total War: Warhammer will be free on the Epic Games Store next week

The wild pinball extravaganza Demon’s Tilt is up for grabs now.

Look, it’s been another tough week for all of us. So why scoop up some free games off Epic’s storefront? Go ahead! You’ve earned it.

This week, the Epic Games Store is giving away Demon’s Tilt, an unholy mash-up of pinball and occult imagery. It’s what I’d like to imagine H.R. Giger would play when he’s not painting, ahem, cylindrical boogeyman.

Demon’s Tilt will be free until March 31, 2022, 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT, so there’s a whole week left to pick it up here.

Next week, Total War: Warhammer and City of Brass will be free on the Epic Games Store. The former is a wildly-popular strategy title, and the latter is a first-person adventure game from former BioShock developers.

Total War: Warhammer and City of Brass won’t be free on the Epic Games Store until March 31, 2022, 8:00 A.M. PDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT. So there’s a week left for you to call up tabletop aficionados and learn all about the difference between Chaos Dwarfs and Greenskins. Don’t compare the franchise to World of WarCraft, though. They hate it.

Demon’s Tilt is free on the Epic Games Store next week

In Sound Mind is up for grabs now.

It’s time once again for free games courtesy of Epic’s storefront. Yes, there are plenty of reasons to open a launcher other than Steam!

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away In Sound Mind, a first-person psychological horror title with bright neon lights and ghoulish monsters all over the place. It’s supposed to be great, so might as well pick it up. Unless you’re afraid, of course.

In Sound Mind will be free until March 24, 2022, 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT, so there’s a whole week left to pick it up here.

Next week, Demon’s Tilt will be Epic’s free offering. There’s not much in the way of impressions on this one, but it does have a “Very Positive” user rating on Steam. Plus, evil pinball sounds pretty sick. Check out a short trailer below.

Demon’s Tilt isn’t free on the Epic Games Store until March 24, 2022, at PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT. Plenty of time to see if your flip-paddle hand is still any good.

In Sound Mind is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Cities: Skylines is up for grabs now.

The weekend is upon us, and so are more free games on Epic’s storefront! And boy, are there some bangers looming on the horizon — not of the forbidden west sort, mind.

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Cities: Skylines. Many city-building enthusiasts consider this the best Sim City-like in recent years. Not that it’s a genre overflowing with options, but hey, it’s hard to beat free regardless.

Cities: Skylines will be free until March 17, 2022, at 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT, so you have until then to pick it up here.

Next week, relatively unknown psychological horror In Sound Mind will be free on The Epic Games Store. The critical and audience reception to this one is quite good, garnering a “Very Positive” user score on Steam and 75 on Metacritic.

In Sound Mind isn’t free on the Epic Games Store until March 17, 2022, at 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT // 4 P.M. GMT. So there’s a week to go before you can fight off all the spooky ghouls.

Cities: Skylines is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Black Widow: Recharged and Centipede: Recharged are up for grabs now.

With how rough the world is these days, even tiny gestures of kindness can brighten up someone’s day — so head over to the Epic Games Store and pick up some freebies!

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Black Widow: Recharged, Centipede: Recharged, and the Epic Slayer Kit for Dauntless. So two retro throwbacks and some in-game currency for a Monster Hunter-like. Alright, Epic, sure why not!

All three will be free on the Epic Games Store until March 10, 2022, at 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT, so there’s a whole week to scoop these up.

Next week, Cities: Skylines will be free on Epic’s storefront. It’s a modern take on SimCity that many people believe is the best take on city-building simulations in recent years. Cities: Skyline sits at an impressive 85 on Metacritic and has a “Very Positive” community consensus on Steam. So it might be worth checking out if you have any fondness for simulation titles like this.

Cities: Skylines will be free on the Epic Games Store starting March 10, 2022, at 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT.

The Dauntless Slayer Kit will be free on the Epic Games Store next week

Meanwhile, Cris Tales is free right now.

The weekend is nearly here, so it’s time once again to head over to the Epic Games Store and snag some freebies. Go ahead, indulge in some free-of-charge fun!

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Cris Tales, a homage of sorts to JRPGs like Persona 4 and Tales of Vesperia. An excellent time sync should you need something to fill the void right now.

Cris Tales will be free on The Epic Games Store until March 3, 2022, 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT, which gives you a whole week to grab it here.

Epic is doing things differently next week, as the Epic Slayer Kit for Dauntless is all that’s up for grabs. This bundle gives you three days of VIP club access and several in-game currencies in Dauntless.

Dauntless is free-to-play already, so the Epic Slayer Kit just gives would-be beast slayers a slight edge. Download Dauntless here if you want to try it out. The Monster Hunter influence is strong with this one.

Kind of slim pickings next week especially compared to how generous the Epic’s storefront often is. Oh well, most people are off playing Elden Ring this weekend anyhow.

Cris Tales is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Meanwhile, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is free on Epic’s storefront right now.

There’s no better way to close out the week than with another freebie off the Epic Games Store. Well, perhaps better things are out there, but whatever, free video games!

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, a brilliant emotionally-charged indie title you can finish in an afternoon. You’ve probably never played a video game with more interesting dual analogue controls than this, trust me.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be free on The Epic Games Store until Feb. 24, 2022, 8 A.M. PDT // 9 A.M. MDT // 11 A.M. EDT, which gives you just shy of a week to grab it here.

Meanwhile, next week’s free title is Cris Tales, an indie tip of the cap to JRPGs like Persona 5 or Trails of Cold Steel. Probably a good holdover until some of 2022’s biggest RPGs start coming out.

Cris Tales came out in July of last year to pretty decent reviews, garnering between a 70-79 on Metacritic, depending on the platform. User reviews on this one are mixed on Steam, but it’s free, so checking it out costs you nothing.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Windbound is up for grabs right now.

It’s almost the weekend, so why not treat yourself to a brand new video game for the ultra-low cost of free!

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Windbound, a beautiful indie survival title. Think Breath of the Wild  but with more Minecraft-like building elements.

Windbound is free on the Epic Games Store starting Thursday until Feb. 17, at 8 A.M. PDT / 9 A.M. MDT / 11 A.M. EDT, which gives you a week to download the game here.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be up for grabs next week if gripping storytelling is more your thing. This one came out way back in 2013, and is somewhat of a cult classic.

At release, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons garnered tons of great reviews, as is evident by its incredible 90 on Metacritic. It’s also relatively short, taking roughly three hours to complete — brevity is the soul of wit and all that. So it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re even slightly curious.

There are loads of great indie games out there, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is certainly one of them.

Windbound is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Catch the waves or be left behind.

The weekend is well within reach, so it would best check out what freebies are on Epic’s storefront before putting your feet up.

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, a side-scrolling platformer that’s sure to tickle the nostalgia of anyone fond of old-school platformers. Several developers behind Banjo-Kazooie  even worked on it!

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair  is free on the Epic Games Store starting Thursday until Feb. 10, at 8 A.M. PDT / 9 A.M. MDT / 11 A.M. EDT, which gives you a week to download the game  here.

If open-world RPGs are more your thing, Windbound  is up for grabs next week. The Breath of the Wild   vibes are strong with this one, and there’s a heavy emphasis on crafting.

Windbound came out back in 2020 to a somewhat messy reception. It’s sitting at 64 on Metacritic, while the Steam reviews are mixed. Most of the criticisms stem from glitchy situations and some questionable combat scenarios.

However, some say it nails the feeling of isolation that makes particular survival games special. Everybody loves its art style, and at the ultra-low-cost of free, it might be worth giving a try anyway!

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Daemon X Machina is free right now.

It’s time once again to head over to the Epic Games Store and stock up on some freebies. After all, you deserve a treat for working (or simply enduring) so hard this week!

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Daemon X Machina, the third-person shooter all about squashing tanks beneath giant mecha boots.

Daemon X Machina  is free on the Epic Games Store from now until Feb. 3, at 8 A.M. PDT / 9 A.M. MDT / 11 A.M. EDT, which gives you a week to download the game  here.

Next week, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair  is up for grabs. If you grew up with 2D side-scrolling platformers, this one is an excellent get, and it’s by the brilliant minds behind Banjo-Kazooie.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair  be available for free on the Epic Games Store from Jan. 4 until Feb. 10, when another mysterious game will replace it.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair  made quite a splash when it came out back in 2019. It’s currently sitting at an impressive  81 on Metacritic, which is particularly noteworthy considering the original Yooka-Laylee was a bit of a dud. It looks like the lizard and bat duo better suits 2D rather than 3D, or maybe it’s just a better game than forbearer. Who knows!

Daemon X Machina is free on the Epic Games Store next week

Relicta is up for grabs now.

The week is almost over, which means time to kick back, relax, and snag more freebies off the Epic Games Store.

This week the Epic Games Store is giving away Relicta, a scifi topsy turvy puzzler all about gravity manipulation and staving off the cold.

Relicta is free on the Epic Games Store from now until Jan. 27, at 8 A.M. PDT / 9 A.M. MDT / 11 A.M. EDT, which gives you a week to download the game  here.

Next week, the third-person shooter Daemon X Machina  will be free. Imagine moving mountainous mechs about the battlefield like Gundam Wing  only with neon hues all over the place, and that’s basically Daemon X Machina.

Daemon X Machina  will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from Jan. 27 until Feb. 3, when a yet-to-be-revealed title will replace it.

It’s been a few years since Daemon X Machina  initially came out on the  Nintendo Switch  to a fairly positive reception. Sitting at a nice  69 Metacritic  score, snagging it once it’s available next week seems well worth it if you’re interested in giant robots punching each other. Don’t be ashamed; everyone is secretly into mecha throwing down.
