England and Colombia meet Saturday in a quarterfinals matchup of the 2023 Women’s World Cup. Kickoff from Stadium Australia is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the England vs. Colombia odds, and make our best Women’s World Cup bets, picks and predictions.

England is looking to get back to the semifinals which is where the Lionesses made it last World Cup before bowing out against Sweden in 2019.

England posted a win on penalties after a scoreless draw in full-time against Nigeria in the Round of 16 on Monday. The match was anything but uneventful, however, as forward Lauren James was shown a red card and has been banned for 2 matches after stomping on the back of a fallen Nigeria defender.

Colombia posted a 1-0 win over Jamaica on Tuesday in the Round of 16 to reach the quarterfinals for the first time in that nation’s history. Colombia welcomes back fullback Manuela Vanegas after a 1-game suspension for a pair of yellow cards in the group stages.

England vs. Colombia picks and predictions

Prediction

England 0, Colombia 0

Moneyline (ML)

I am not sure who is going to come through on penalties, but I feel that’s how this quarterfinals match is going to be decided. As a result, DRAW (+260) is a tremendous value on the 3-way line, as you can multiply your initial wager by more than 2 1/2 times.

England was rather sluggish last time out against Nigeria, and Colombia plays a similar style. You can expect the South American side to play it rather close to the vest with tight defense while taking very few chances. It will toss a blanket on England, a team that was outshot by Nigeria last time out.

Over/Under (O/U)

PASS.

Under 2.5 Goals (-200) is just too expensive. While there is very little chance we see the back of the net hit 3 or more times, you can’t risk twice as much as your return.

Instead, take a chance on UNDER 1.5 REGULAR TIME GOALS (+145) for a much better value. I am expecting Colombia to clamp down defensively and make it a nightmare for England to shake loose.

I also like the “halftime and full-time” prop, playing TIE/TIE (+350) for the opportunity to more than triple up. If this match does go to penalties, it will be very lucrative if you make this wager.
