2025 uncommitted DL sets Michigan State football official visit

MSU will be hosting a Canadian DL on an official visit next month

Michigan State football is looking to round out their 2025 recruiting class, holding give or take five spots in the rest of the recruiting class. One prospect that the Spartans have their eye on is Emmanuel Nwaiwu.

Nwaiwu is from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is a 6-foot-4, 240 pound defensive lineman. He attends Vanier College and is a 3-star recruit.

Michigan State and Boise State are the two schools in the mix for the Canadian defensive lineman, with both getting visits next month. The Spartans will host NWaiwu on Nov. 22 for their game against Purdue, meanwhile the Broncos will host him on Nov. 29 for their game against Oregon State.

One of the Spartans’ targets in the 2025 class has received a nice bump in his 247Sports rankings.

Edge rusher Emmanuel Nwaiwu is now listed as a three-star prospect on 247Sports. He had previously been unranked but has moved up the charts after a strong summer camp series.

Nwaiwu hails from Montreal and ranks as the No. 128 edge rusher in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class.

Michigan State is one of five schools to offer Nwaiwu, with the other four being Boston College, Boise State, Akron and Maine. He is scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan State later this fall.

Michigan State will reportedly host three-star defensive lineman Emmanuel Nwaiwu for an official visit in November.

Corey Robinson of 247Sports reported the notable recruiting news on Nwaiwu’s upcoming visit to Michigan State. Nwaiwu — who hails from Canada — will visit Michigan State on November 22.

Michigan State offered Nwaiwu in June. He also holds offers from Boston College, Boise State, Akron and Maine.

Canadian edge rusher Emmanuel Nwaiwu posted a picture on X of the official scholarship offer package he received from the Spartans this week. The package appears to include an official offer letter and some other cool graphics related to Michigan State.

Michigan State officially offers an uncommitted defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class

A top prospect left on Michigan State football’s recruiting board, Emmanuel Nwaiwu is a defensive lineman that is one of the top remaining targets in the 2025 recruiting class for the Spartans staff. Nwaiwu competed at the Wayne State high school prospects camp, where the Spartans coaching staff fell in love with the talent.

Nwaiwu is a 6-foot-4, 250 pound defensive lineman from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Spartans plan to beat out Boise State and Boston College for his talent.

An off-the-radar 2025 prospect is reportedly planning a visit to Michigan State later this year.

Jason Killop of On3 is reporting that defensive lineman Emmanuel Nwaiwu is planning on taking an official visit to Michigan State in the fall. Nwaiwu hails from Montreal, QC and has recently picked up some interest on the recruiting trail.

Nwaiwu is not ranked on 247Sports.

Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to an edge rusher from north of the border.

Emmanuel Nwaiwu of Montreal (Quebec) Vanier College announced he received a scholarship from the Spartans earlier this week. He is an edge rusher in the 2025 class.

Nwaiwu is currently unranked on 247Sports.com.

Michigan State is the fifth program to offer Nwaiwu, according to 247Sports. Other programs to offer him includes Boston College, Boise State, Akron and Maine.
