Former Ohio State football star finds a new NFL home #GoBucks

Former Ohio State football star, Eli Apple has found a new home in the NFL as he recently signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. Los Angeles will be the sixth team for Apple since he entered the league in 2016 as a first round selection. A vital part of the 2015 national championship team and an All-Big Ten player, expectations were high for the New Jersey product in the NFL.

The former Buckeye has not lived up to the first round hype, but he has had a decent career in the NFL after being drafted by the New York Giants. Apple has spent time with the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins.

The Chargers are coached by former head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Jim Harbaugh so this will be an interesting reuniting of rivals. The defensive back will start out on the practice squad for Los Angeles, but he will likely be moved to the active roster sooner than later.
