Clemson lands commitment from offensive lineman Easton Ware

The Tigers landed their first offensive linemen in their 2025 class.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have landed their first offensive line commitment in their 2025 class and third overall commitment.

Lynchburg, Virginia, offensive tackle Easton Ware announced his commitment to Clemson on Facebook Live on Wednesday, confirming he will be joining fellow teammate Gideon Davidson in the Tigers 2025 class. During the announcement, Ware had a poster requesting Davidson be his roommate at Clemson.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Ware is the No.30 offensive tackle and the No.366 overall player in the 2025 class. A great commitment for the Tigers, things should start picking up throughout the year with recruiting. A win against Notre Dame would definitely help their cause.

Clemson offensive lineman target announces commitment date, Tigers in top 10

Clemson makes the top 10 for an offensive lineman target who has announced a commitment date.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers haven’t had much activity in the recruiting trail of late but news on a 2025 offensive line target has been revealed.

Lynchburg, Virginia offensive tackle Easton Ware took to Twitter/X Friday to announce his top ten schools and a commitment date. Ware will announce his commitment on November 1st, with the Tigers competing with Auburn, Oklahoma, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Baylor, Duke, Michigan, Notre Dame and Wisconsin for the offensive tackles commitment.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Ware is the No.30 offensive tackle and the No.390 overall player in the 2025 class. He has no crystal ball predictions, meaning it’s anyone’s guess where this rising 2025 recruit will commit.

Oklahoma offers 2025 offensive tackle Easton Ware

Oklahoma offers 2025 offensive tackle Easton Ware.

Easton Ware received an offer from Oklahoma for the 2025 recruiting class. He’s an offensive lineman out of Lynchburg, Virginia. As a rising junior, Ware is listed at 6-foot-6 and 290 lbs.

Oklahoma joined Baylor and Virginia Tech as the only Power Five schools to offer Ware so far, with Liberty rounding out the list of offers. Ware earned his offer after spending time with the Sooners coaching staff at Brent Venables Football Camp.

In high school, Ware plays on both the defensive line and the offensive line, but the offensive line is his future in college. Though he’s currently unrated by 247Sports, if Bill Bedenbaugh and Brent Venables are issuing an offer, they believe Ware has the talent to play at the Power Five level.

Bedenbaugh’s track record speaks for itself. He’s one of the best, if not the best, offensive line coaches in the country.

When you watch his film, his size stands out, but you also can see how much athleticism he has. The potential is clearly there.

While the 2025 recruiting cycle still has more than a year and a half to go till its signing day, the Sooners have been plugging away to get in on the ground floor with prospects they like. Ware is a prospect to watch for the Oklahoma Sooners as they build their 2025 recruiting class.
