With the waiver process set to start at noon on Wednesday and teams around the league rushing to put together a formidable 16-man practice squad, here are 10-players Philadelphia should consider adding to the roster.

Even after starting the first preseason game and showing the best pass blocking prowess on the team, Jordan Howard was among the surprise roster cuts.
The Eagles also moved on from Hassan Ridgeway, Le’Raven Clark, and Richard Rodgers among others.

It’s not necessarily breaking news, but the Travis Fulgham era could be over in Philadelphia after the Eagles waived the veteran wide receiver.
A breakout player for the Eagles who waived three times last summer, Fulgham had 29 catches for 435 yards and four touchdowns in his first 5 games last season and was among the top-selling jerseys.
After the breakout, Fulgham’s production slowed tremendously, as he only had nine catches in eight games after the bye.
Entering his first training camp under Nick Sirianni, Fulgham was a perceived starter, but he quickly lost ground to Quez Watkins and others.

As the Eagles work to get down to the 53 man roster limit, cornerback Michael Jacquet is the latest player to be placed on waivers.
A 2020 undrafted free agent out of Lousiana at Lafayette, Jacquet was elevated to the active roster on October 31 and November 14 for the team’s weeks 8 and 10 games against the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, and reverted to the practice squad after each game.
Jacquet could be a candidate for the practice squad.

With the Tuesday deadline less than 20 hours away, the Eagles are waiving offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher, according to Mike Garafalo.
A former fifth-round pick of the Washington Football Team out of Alabama, Pierschbacher signed with Philadelphia late during the 2020 season.

The Eagles have started the process of trimming the roster down to the required 53-players by Tuesday’s 4:00 p.m. deadline.
Philadelphia acquired Gardner Minshew from Jacksonville on Saturday for a sixth-round pick and then subsequentially waived quarterback, Nick Mullens.

NFL roster cut-down schedule & rules
The Philadelphia Eagles logged another training camp in the books and as the team begins preparation for the season opener at Washington, Howie Roseman and company will embark on cutting down the roster to 53 players, while building a 16 man practice squad.
Here are the rules for the roster cutdowns, the schedule, and the deadline for the Eagles to be at 53 players:

Sept. 5: Prior to 4:00 p.m., New York time, the Eagles and 31 other NFL clubs must reduce rosters to a maximum of 53 players on the Active/Inactive List.
Sept. 6: Waiver Claim Deadline
The claiming period for players placed on waivers at the final roster reduction will expire at 12:00 noon, New York time.
Upon receipt of the Personnel Notice at approximately 1:00 p.m., New York time, clubs may establish a practice squad of 16 players (clubs participating in the International Player Development Program may sign one additional international player to a Practice Player Contract.) No club, including the player’s prior club, will be permitted to sign a player to a practice player contract until all clubs have received simultaneous notification via the above Personnel Notice that such player’s prior NFL player contract has been terminated via the waiver system.
Sept. 10: At 12:00 a.m., New York time, the Top 51 Rule expires for all NFL clubs. All teams must be under the salary cap
Sept. 10, 13-14: Regular Season Week 1.
