Dana White’s Contender Series 60 results: Three fighters get UFC contracts; two denied

Season 7, Week 4 of Dana White’s Contender Series goes down Tuesday, and MMA Junkie will have live results from on-site at the UFC Apex.

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene at Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 69 event.

Dana White’s Contender Series cards see prospects fighting for the opportunity to sign a UFC deal, with UFC president Dana White on hand to make the decisions.

The fourth episode of Season 7 saw 10 fighters compete for their shot at a UFC contract. A welterweight contest between Mitch Ramirez (7-1) and Carlos Prates (17-6) served as the featured matchup of the five-bout lineup.

Also on the card was Yousri Belgaroui (5-3), a former Glory Kickboxing standout who competed against both Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. He took on Marco Tulio Silva (9-2).

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene at Monday’s official Dana White’s Contender Series 60 fighter weigh-ins.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Las Vegas and lasted less than 15 minutes. The UFC Apex hosts Tuesday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.

Ten fighters will vie for UFC contracts in their fights, including welterweights [autotag]Mitch Ramirez[/autotag] (7-0) and [autotag]Carlos Prates[/autotag] (16-6), who headline the show.

Also on the card is [autotag]Yousri Belgaroui[/autotag] (5-2), a former Glory Kickboxing standout who competed against both Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. He takes on [autotag]Marco Silva[/autotag] (9-1).

Eagle FC 44 adds two bouts, including Raimond Magomedaliev vs. Anthony Njokuani

The latest additions to the card include a 175-pound catchweight matchup of [autotag]Raimond Magomedaliev[/autotag] vs. [autotag]Anthony Njokuani[/autotag], as well as a featherweight contest of [autotag]Arman Ospanov[/autotag] vs. [autotag]Dylan Salvador[/autotag].

MMA Junkie today confirmed the two new bookings with Eagle FC officials.

Featuring a heavyweight headliner between Tyrone Spong and Sergei Kharitonov, Eagle FC 44 takes place Jan. 28 at FLXcast Arena in Miami and streams live on the FLXcast app.

Magomedaliev (8-1) makes his promotional debut following a four-fight run under the ONE Championship banner. The Dagestani native and former combat sambo world champion suffered a decision loss to former LFA welterweight champion James Nakashima in his ONE debut before bouncing back with three consecutive wins – most recently an April 2021 decision over Tyler McGuire at UFC on TNT 1. Six of Magomedaliev’s eight professional victories have come by stoppage.

Meanwhile, UFC and WEC veteran Njokuani (16-12) returns to MMA for the first time since 2016. The Nigerian-born Njokuani tangled with a number of MMA notables during his time under the Zuffa banner, including Edson Barboza, Danny Castillo, Daron Cruickshank, Rafael dos Anjos, Benson Henderson, Chris Horodecki, John Makdessi, Bart Palaszewski, Vinc Pichel and Andre Winner, among others. Njokuani has focused on striking contests in the interim but was victorious at Jorge Masvidal’s bare-knuckle MMA event, Gamebred Fighting Championship, in December.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan’s Ospanov (11-4) fought most recently under the PFL banner this past June. He now faces French striker Salvador (4-1), whose kickboxing record includes a decision win over UFC featherweight Giga Chikadze under the GLORY banner.

Titan FC 59 announced, includes welterweight title unification bout, Max Rohskopf return, more

Titan FC has officially booked their first show of 2020.

Top Southeast regional promotion Titan FC has officially booked their first show of 2020.

Titan FC 59 takes place Feb. 28 at Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The main card streams on UFC Fight Pass. The promotion recently announced the event and a handful of bookings. The rest of the lineup is expected to be announced in the coming days.

The main event features a 170-pound title unification bout between the promotion’s welterweight champion [autotag]Michael Graves[/autotag] and interim champion [autotag]Kamal Magomedov[/autotag].

A former UFC fighter, Graves (8-1-2) has won back-to-back fights under the Titan banner. Conversely, Magomedov (8-0) won his promotional debut by submission at Titan FC 57 in October.

Additionally, highly-touted undefeated welterweight prospect [autotag]Max Rohskopf[/autotag] is booked for his fifth professional MMA bout. The former North Carolina State University wrestling standout has translated his success to MMA, but has struggled to find opponents as of late. Named one of MMA Junkie’s 20 fighters who could become stars in the 20’s, Rohskopf (4-0) will face Brazil’s [autotag]Paulo Silva[/autotag] (6-5).
