Fortnite fans love the hysterical ‘Kamehameha’ move from Dragon Ball

Imagine telling nerdy kids in 2004 that Goku will simultaneously battle Darth Vader and LeBron James one day.

We all knew Dragon Ball would crossover with Fortnite eventually. Yes, Goku can finally lock horns with John Cena and Darth Vader to determine the strongest resident of tomato town.

The Fortnite x Dragon Ball event is in full swing this week, and with it comes tons of loads of meme potential. Seriously, Vegeta can casually take a selfie after blasting Will Smith with a shotgun. How can anyone not burst into laughter at the absurdity? Even the most ridiculous forum signatures from 2005 couldn’t have predicted this.

Everyone is hyper-focusing on Goku’s Kamehameha technique, the iconic energy blast move that toppled titans like Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu — all chumps compared to Travis Scott and Lebron James. Fortnite is now the ultimate battleground of champions, you see.

Below, we’ve compiled a list of the best reactions and memes to Fortnite‘s Kamehameha.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball: How to get the Kamehameha

After a long wait, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball event is finally here. We’ll tell you where you can find the all-powerful Kamehameha.

After a long wait and a lot of hype, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover event is finally here. Assets containing the Capsule Corp logo were found last month after an update and just yesterday the trailer leaked slightly ahead of schedule, but now the event is finally here and you can sink your teeth into all the new content, which is available until August 30.

There are new Fortnite skins and emotes available on the store and a brand new set of challenges with unique rewards on offer. What we’re the most interested in is the new items available, and the amazing fun you can have by unleashing a Kamehameha. This icon of Dragon Ball makes for a ridiculously powerful weapon in Fortnite, so we’ll tell you how to get your hands on it.

Dragon Ball is coming to Fortnite, and fans want Goku

Goku and the Z Fighters will (probably) drop onto Fortnite’s island soon.

Well, it finally happened: Dragon Ball is crossing over with Fortnite. Like every ancient prophecy, so too did this finally come to fruition — or it will once Goku gets announced.

We don’t know anything official about the Dragon Ball x Fortnite crossover other than it’ll release on Aug. 16, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. On Thursday, Epic Games merely teased everyone that date and an image of Shenron on Twitter, the gigantic wish-granting dragon from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball Super. It’s not much to go on, but plenty enough for fans to speculate which characters might join the fray.

Goku has to be there. You know it, I know it, and everyone familiar with anime knows it. There aren’t many characters within pop culture as instantly recognizable as the cheerful saiyan warrior, and for a good reason too. Could Indiana Jones, Darth Vader, or Pac-Man defeat Frieza? I think not!

Naturally, the internet is overflowing with hilarious memes and reactions. We’ve gathered some knee-slappers for your enjoyment below.
