The top linebacker in the transfer portal is setting up a visit to Texas.
It has been an active offseason for Texas in the transfer portal thus far.
The Longhorns have made some strong improvements to the roster with the addition of Quinn Ewers, Isaiah Neyor, Ryan Watts and a few others.
Steve Sarkisian’s staff is not done trying to work some transfer portal magic quite yet. FCS All-American linebacker Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey is setting up a visit to Texas, per Max Olsen.
Texas was one of the first schools to reach out and offer Tucker-Dorsey after he entered the transfer portal on May 18. He has announced notable offers from the likes of Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and UCF.
The James Madison transfer would immediately push for playing time on the Texas defense. Tucker-Dorsey could be the answer to Texas’ linebacker woes over the past couple of seasons.
