Texans add two new coaches to 2020 staff

The Houston Texans have added two new coaches to the staff in DeNarius McGhee and Deon Broomfield.

The Houston Texans continue to make additions to their 2020 coaching staff.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans have added former Montana State running backs coach DeNarius McGhee as an offensive quality control coach.

The Texans also filled a void left when secondary coach Anthony Midget took the same job with the Tennessee Titans and the Texans simply promoted assistant secondary coach D’Anton Lynn to replace Midget. Houston hired former Indiana State cornerbacks coach Deon Broomfield as a defensive assistant.

The Texans have not yet announced their final coaching staff. Last year, the club did not announce their final changes to the coaching staff and front office until Feb. 5, the Tuesday after Super Bowl LIII between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams.
