How to watch and stream Day 3 of the 2024 NFL draft

Welcome to Day 3 of the 2024 NFL draft! Let’s fill out the roster!

Following the first three rounds over the last two days, the 2024 NFL draft will now conclude on Saturday in Detroit.

Day 3 of the draft will feature Rounds 4-7. The picks will begin at 10 a.m. MT and the event will be nationally televised on NFL Network and ESPN. Football fans can stream the draft on fuboTV (try it free).

Teams will have five minutes to make selections in Rounds 4-6 and four minutes to make in the seventh round. Clubs will also be limited to four minutes to make compensatory picks (at the end of Rounds 3-7).

There will be 257 total picks. Barring a trade, the Denver Broncos are scheduled to make the second-to-last pick of the draft, No. 256. The Broncos made five picks in last year’s draft (view the 2023 class here).

After the draft, Denver will fill its 90-man offseason roster by signing undrafted free agents. We will track all of the team’s UDFA signings on Broncos Wire beginning Saturday evening.

Packers entering Day 3 of 2024 draft with 8 more picks

The Packers have made 5 picks through 3 rounds and will go into Day 3 with 8 more picks to use.

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst traded down in the second round and added two more picks to his total entering Day 3 of the 2024 NFL draft. He’ll have eight more picks going into Saturday after picking offensive lineman Jordan Morgan, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, safety Javon Bullard, running back MarShawn Lloyd and linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper during the first three rounds.

Gutekunst wouldn’t rule out trading up on Day 3 or trading to acquire 2025 draft capital. He’s also comfortable staying put and adding eight more draft picks to continue fostering competition and growth within his roster.

[affiliatewidget_smgtolocal]

Here’s the list of picks for the Packers entering Day 3:

4th round, No. 126 overall
5th round, No. 168 overall (from NO)
5th round, No. 169 overall
6th round, No. 190 overall (from NO)
6th round, No. 202 overall
6th round, No. 219 overall
7th round, No. 245 overall
7th round, No. 255 overall

Gutekunst traded down four spots in the second round — going from No. 41 to No. 45 — and acquired a fifth- and sixth-round pick from the New Orleans Saints.

The Packers crossed off big needs along the offensive line and at linebacker and safety during the first two days. Which positions could Gutekunst target on Day 3? The Packers might need more depth along the offensive line and at cornerback and safety, and don’t rule out Gutekunst adding more competition at quarterback, receiver and defensive line.

Favorite Day 3 fits for Packers in 2024 NFL draft

The staff at Packers Wire picked their favorite Day 3 picks for the Packers in the 2024 draft.

The Green Bay Packers can quickly reinforce the roster with five top 100 picks in the 2024 draft, but general manager Brian Gutekunst is also entering next week’s draft with six picks on Day 3. Just last year, Gutekunst found Dontayvion Wicks, Karl Brooks, Carrington Valentine on Day 3. Who can he find to help his team in 2024?

The staff at Packers Wire dug through the prospects to find our favorite Day 3 fits:

Zach Kruse: S Kitan Oladapo, Oregon State

Oladapo is versatile and experienced, with a cornerback background, 39 starts at Oregon State and snaps played as a deep split safety and in the box. A three-time All-Pac 12 pick, he has the size (6-2, 216) and playstyle to eventually be a strong safety type next to Xavier McKinney. Over the last three seasons, Oladapo created 15.5 tackles for loss, 26 pass breakups and 6.5 sacks, proving he can be disruptive against the run and pass and as a blitzer. Even if the Packers get a safety in the first three rounds, selecting Oladapo on Day 3 would further stabilize the important position in Jeff Hafley’s new-look secondary.

Brandon Carwile: OL Hunter Nourzad, Penn State

Nourzad certainly fits the mold of a Day 3 offensive lineman the Packers would usually covet. Initially an Ivy League commit, he made 20 consecutive starts at right tackle for Cornell before transferring to Penn State, where he started games at center and guard. Knowing Green Bay’s history of drafting offensive linemen with positional versatility, Nourzad is a name to watch out for in the later rounds. His short arms will likely prevent him from playing tackle in the NFL, but his thick lower body and functional play strength may help him develop into a starter along the interior. The Packers currently have an opening at right guard with the departure of Jon Runyan in free agency and could soon have one at center after Josh Myers’ rookie contract expires at the end of next season. Nourzad has the potential to compete at both spots.

Paul Bretl: S Dominique Hampton, Washington

With how thing the safety position is for the Packers, with only four players on the roster, Green Bay will likely have to at least double-dip at this position. On Day 3, a good developmental option for them is Dominique Washington. Like any Day 3 selection, refinement is needed, but Hampton brings versatility and athleticism. He played all over the Washington secondary, and we know how important that aspect is to Brian Gutekunst, while also posting a RAS of 9.74. Jeff Hafley has been praised for his ability to develop defensive backs, and if he can get the most out of Hampton, he has the upside to be a contributor down the road.

Brennen Rupp: LB Edefuan Ulofoshio, Washington

The Packers need to add bodies to the linebacker room. With five picks in the Top 100, it is a safe bet that Brian Gutekunst adds a linebacker in that range. A linebacker he could add on Day 3 to round out the linebacker room while giving Rich Bisaccia a hired gun is Ulofoshio. The Washington linebacker showcased his athleticism at the combine and he plays with a non-stop motor. Ulofoshio shows good instincts and range as a run defender and is one of the better coverage linebackers in the draft. During his time at Washington, he logged 431 snaps on special teams. Given his competitive makeup, Ulofoshio could be a player that the Packers make a priority when Day 3 rolls around.

Broncos’ schedule for Day 3 of training camp

The Broncos practice at 10 a.m. today. Gates to the parking lot open at 8 and gates to the practice facility open at 9. Tickets are required

The Denver Broncos will hit the practice field at 10:00 a.m. MT on Monday, July 31 for Day 3 of the team’s 2023 training camp schedule. The practice is free to attend, but a free ticket is required (more on that below).

Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at 13403 Broncos Pkwy beginning at 8:00 a.m. Gates to the practice facility open at 9 a.m. Seating will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis, primarily on the berm on the west end of the practice fields. There will also be some ADA seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Because the berm is not shaded, fans who attend practice are encouraged to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. Fans can bring the same kind of small bags that are allowed at the team’s stadium. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are not allowed at practice.

Due to Arapahoe County enforcing a 3,000 capacity limit for events at the team’s Centura Health Training Center, fans will need a (free) ticket to attend training camp practices this year.

Those free tickets quickly “sold out,” but fans should check availability on Ticketmaster because some tickets could be returned. (If you have free tickets and cannot attend a practice, there is an easy process to return tickets so other fans can use them.)

Some players will be available to sign autographs at the west end of the practice fields after each practice session.

The team’s complete training camp schedule can be seen below.

Injury, absence updates from Chiefs OTAs on Wednesday

The #Chiefs had some notable players absent and dealing with injuries during Day 3 of OTAs.

The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up their third organized team activity practice on Wednesday. They’ll resume OTAs on Tuesday, May 30 after a few days off for the Memorial Day weekend.

According to Arrowhead Pride’s Pete Sweeney, TE Jody Fortson, DT Chris Jones, RB Jerick McKinnon, DT Derrick Nnadi, RB Isiah Pacheco and DT Turk Wharton weren’t spotted at practice on Wednesday. Keep in mind that OTAs are voluntary and players are not required to attend, but a few of these absences are notable.

Isiah Pacheco has been present at team facilities, but we know that he’s recovering from two offseason surgeries.

Tershawn Wharton finished the year in 2022 on injured reserve with a torn ACL.

Chris Jones has previously stayed away during voluntary workouts when he was involved in contract talks with the team. He’s in the final year of his current deal and is due for an extension.

International OT Jason Godrick was on the sidelines without a helmet per Sweeney. It’s reasonable that he’s still being brought up to speed in Kansas City, having never played organized football before.

Trent McDuffie and L’Jarius Sneed were also present without helmets. Andy Reid spoke about those briefly spoke about those absences with reporters, citing precautionary measures.

“I’m not going to give you all the injuries,” Reid said. “But yeah, we’re just going easy and easing them back.”

The team is not required to report injuries during this phase of the offseason. It’s reasonable to assume based on Reid’s comments that whatever injuries that Sneed and McDuffie are dealing with are considered minor in nature.

These absences allowed some young corners like Jaylen Watson, Joshua Williams, Nazeeh Johnson and Dicaprio Bootle to get some first-team work during OTAs.

Every pick on day 3 of the 2023 NFL draft

The final day of the 2023 NFL draft is upon us.

On Thursday and Friday, there were 102 collegiate players that achieved the first step of the NFL dreams. They now know where they will begin their post-collegiate careers.

On Saturday, another 157 players over four rounds will join them. The final pick dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” is held by the Houston Texans. Last year it was Brock Purdy of Iowa State, who proved to be pretty relevant. He led the 49ers to the NFC Championship game.

The picks on Saturday will come fast and furious with a limited clock to make selections. Which top player still available will come off the board first? The New Orleans Saints are on the clock with pick No. 103.

College Sports Wire looks at every selection on the final day of the 2023 NFL draft.

Where does Packers roster still need depth entering Day 3?

Assessing the depth of the Packers roster entering Day 3 of the 2023 draft. Green Bay has nine Day 3 picks.

The Green Bay Packers added a premium player at edge rusher and used three Day 2 picks on pass-catchers to start the 2023 draft.

Brian Gutekunst still has nine total picks to make on Saturday.

Where does the Packers still depth entering Day 3? Let’s take a look:

Defensive line: Lukas Van Ness might do some interior pass-rushing, but this position group still needs depth. There’s only five under contract and three locks to make the 53-man roster.

Wide receiver: Jayden Reed was a start, but expect the Packers to add more. While the receiver depth chart now has six players, the Packers usually bring at least 10 to training camp.

Running back: The futures of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon are a little cloudy past 2023, and Patrick Taylor and Tyler Goodson shouldn’t stop the Packers from using a Day 3 pick on a running back.

Kicker: The Packers will want competition for Parker White, but is there another draftable kicker available after Jake Moody went in the third round?

Safety: The depth here is okay after retaining Rudy Ford and Dallin Leavitt and signing Tarvarius Moore, but talent is required. The right rookie pick could be an early starter.

Quarterback: The Packers need a backup to start developing behind Jordan Love. Danny Etling is the only other quarterback on the roster.

No depth required? The Packers have 13 offensive linemen under contract, but this team almost always takes at least one lineman in the draft…The linebacker depth chart features four veterans, and Tariq Carpenter is expected to start the 2023 season at linebacker…Edge rusher has six veterans with regular season experience in Green Bay and now Van Ness…Cornerback returns eight players from last season and has nine total under contract…Punter and long snapper are in good shape.

20 best NFL draft prospect fits on offense and defense for Saints on Day 3

We’re on to Day 3 of the 2023 NFL draft. Here are the 20 best prospects who fit what the Saints look for, from Darius Rush to Dorian Thompson-Robinson:

We’re on to Day 3 of the 2023 NFL draft. We’ve already broken down the top 50 available players, but the New Orleans Saints tend to take a fine-toothed comb to the draft class while looking for their best fits.

With that in mind, here are 20 prospects who best fit what the Saints look for, athletically and schematically, ranging from South Carolina cornerback Darius Rush to UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. The team has met with many of these players either privately on campus or in formal visits at the team facility. With five picks left to them in 2023, expect them to target some of these prospects:
