Michigan State football LB Darius Snow’s message after newsworthy day for MSU: ‘Relax’

Michigan State football LB Darius Snow’s message after newsworthy day for MSU: ‘Relax’

After an interesting, news-filled day for Michigan State football that left some panicking on social media, Michigan State linebacker Darius Snow had a simple message for everyone: “Relax.”

Spartan starters Charles Brantley, Payton Thorne and Keon Coleman entered the NCAA transfer portal on Sunday on the last day of the spring period.

While it was certainly surprising, this kind of news has become the new normal in college sports, especially for players who are at serious risk of being passed on the depth chart by younger players (Brantley and Thorne), or if you have the opportunity to make life-changing levels of NIL money at a school such as LSU or USC (Coleman).

The good news is Michigan State has much better depth at all three positions than a few years ago thanks to the strong recruiting of Mel Tucker and his staff, so I think I agree with Darius Snow on this one.

When Mel Tucker spoke to the media following Michigan State football’s annual spring game, he noted that he wants MSU to be a player-led program. With that in mind, some of his leaders on the team spoke to the media after the game, including Darius Snow, Xavier Henderson, Jayden Reed, and Payton Thorne.

Darius Snow, the son of MSU basketball great Eric Snow, has used social media to show off his stellar graphic design skills. It is obvious Snow has a passion for the art.

With the new NIL rules allowing players to expand their brands in order to make money, Snow is getting creative in his use of the new rules.

Snow will be launching his own apparel brand, named ‘The Dawg Outlet’, highlighting his graphic design skills in the clothing.

Darius Snow has big things planned both on and off the field, it seems.
