Jake Oettinger (35-11-11, 2.42 GAA, .918 SV%, 4 SO) vs. Ville Husso (26-20-7, 3.05 GAA, .898 SV%, 4 SO)
Oettinger allowed just a single goal in each of his last 2 starts against the Vegas Golden Knights and Philadelphia Flyers, both victories. He has won 5 of the last 6 starts overall, too.
He allowed just 2 goals on 26 shots in a 3-2 OTW against the Red Wings on Dec. 10 in the 1st meeting in the Metroplex.

The Stars (-185) are playing for a division title, locked in a heated 3-way race with the Avalanche and Wild. The Red Wings (+150) are eliminated, and simply playing out the string.
Still, you can’t risk nearly 2 times your potential return on Dallas.
AVOID, and look to the puck line instead.
Puck line/Against the spread
The STARS -1.5 (+135) are a much better value on the puck line. Dallas is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings against Detroit, although 3 of those wins are in OT, so be careful.
Still, in their last 5 wins since March 28, the Stars have won by 3-plus goals in 4 of those outings. If you like the Stars to win, you should like them on the puck line, too.
