The Georgia Bulldogs received a commitment from 4-star running back Daijun Edwards to take them to the top-ranked recruiting class in the country. Edwards joins Kendall Milton, the nation’s No. 7 back in the 2020 class, as Georgia’s second running back commit for the class.
Does this mean UGA is out of the race for Zach Evans? It has been quite some time since Georgia took three running backs in a single recruiting class.
Edwards announced in a tweet on Thursday that he would be committing to the Bulldogs. He chose UGA over Florida State, Tennessee and others.
Let’s check out some of Edwards’ highlights. Edwards played against tough competition in the state of Georgia during his time at Colquitt County High School.
Edwards is a north and south runner, who does not waste much movement. He rarely attempts to reverse the field and hit a home run. He’s a polished receiver, who lacks breakaway speed.
Wild weekend in the Peach State 🍑
