Texas ex Connor Williams is off to Miami.

More former Longhorns are on the move in NFL free agency. A day after Quandre Diggs and Colt McCoy signed new deals, Connor Williams is off to the sunshine state after inking a two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. The offensive lineman will now play a role in protecting young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Williams was drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys, where he has played in 57 games in his four-year NFL career.

In his collegiate career, Williams started three years at tackle for Texas, being named a consensus first-team All-American in his sophomore season. He declared for the draft have an injury-hinged junior year where he was limited to just five games.
