The talk of the college football world on Thursday has been the announcement that one of the most beloved video games in all of sports is coming back at long last, and we finally have a good idea of when the return will take place.

EA Sports College Football 25 is expected to be released this summer, which was announced on Thursday, along with a teaser trailer to get fans excited. Social media has been buzzing in college football circles. Many are speculating what game modes will be included and how many new features fans can look forward to.

The Oregon Ducks took things a step further, which should surprise nobody. On Thursday afternoon, they released their own “trailer” so to speak, with images of their own players in the game, like Tez Johnson, Jurrion Dickey and Terrance Ferguson, wearing some of the new Oregon uniforms that have been released since the last iteration of the game back in 2014.

On Thursday, EA Sports released their teaser trailer for EA College Football 25 set for release this Summer. This will mark the return of the beloved video game franchise. The last time we saw an EA Sports college football game was NCAA Football 14 which came out in July 2013.

Fans of college football and the NFL draft have been waiting a long time for this one to come back. The last time EA put out a college football game, former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson was on the cover. EA promises a full reveal of the game in May.

EA Sports released its first “College Football 25” teaser trailer on Thursday with the full gameplay reveal coming in May.

The beloved college football video game franchise from EA Sports is making its return after more than a decade.

“College Football 25” is set to release this summer, and on Thursday, EA dropped the first teaser trailer for the game, which features the Rose Bowl as the backdrop.

The teaser doesn’t feature any actual gameplay, but it did give us an idea of when we will learn more about the game. A full reveal is coming in May, and that is presumably when we will get our first look at in-game footage from the highly anticipated title.

The series, previously titled “NCAA Football,” was canceled following the 2013 release in the wake of a court case the NCAA lost for featuring the likenesses of players in the game without compensating them.

With the advent of NIL benefits, the series is able to return, this time featuring players’ names and likenesses.

The most highly anticipated video game release in the sports world is making a return to your consoles. EA Sports’ NCAA Football went on a hiatus after their 2014 version of the game after the NCAA opted not to renew their relationship with the video game titan.

The era of NIL opened the door for the fan-favorite college football game to make a return, creating fervor among college football fans and gamers alike.

Today, on social media, EA Sports released a teaser for their upcoming release.

According to Brandon Marcello of 247Sports, the College Football 25 will be built on the same engine as EA Sports’ Madden franchise.

It’s anticipated that EA SPORTS will release the game late this summer, but the details of the release will come in May. We’re one step closer to the return of the legendary football game.
