The Irish don’t move, did the coaches get it right?
Through two weeks [autotag]Notre Dame football[/autotag] wasn’t challenged. But after this weekend’s road victory over NC State, the Irish didn’t move in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.
Upcoming Notre Dame opponents Ohio State, USC and Clemson all won, staying inside the rankings. The bayou Brian Kelly watch continued as well, with LSU winning its first game of the season.
Find out below where the top teams, including the Irish, landed in this week’s coaches poll.
Houston maintains the top spot, Alabama and Duke jump up.
The final coaches poll was released on Sunday ahead of the tip-off for the 2023 NCAA Tournament. One should expect plenty of March Madness this year.
Our biggest winners in the polls were the [autotag]Duke Blue Devils[/autotag] and [autotag]Missouri Tigers[/autotag]. Duke won the ACC Tournament with wins over Pittsburgh, Miami, and Virginia to claim the 2023 crown. Missouri defeated Tennessee in the SEC Tournament before falling to eventual champion, Alabama.
The biggest loser in this week’s poll was the [autotag]UCLA Bruins[/autotag], who fell four spots to No. 6 overall. The Bruins defeated Colorado and Oregon before falling to Arizona in the Pac-12 Championship game.
The [autotag]Houston Cougars[/autotag] remained in the top spot and Alabama jumped to No. 2 after winning their tournament.

Which college football programs are the greatest of all-time according to the UPI and USA Today Coaches final polls?
It’s been Alabama’s decade with three national titles making it far and away the best program of the 2010s so far according to the final USA Today Coaches Polls. Who else have rocked over the decade?
Clemson, Ohio State and Oklahoma, and they all ended up tied behind Alabama.
Taking all the UPI and Coaches Poll final rankings, CFN devised a scoring system giving every AP national champion 25 points, the No. 2 team 24, No. 3 23, and so on down to the bottom.
