Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (34-24) are slated to face the Chicago Bulls (26-33) on Friday at United Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Nets vs. Bulls odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets covered as 1.5-point home favorites to defeat the Miami Heat 116-105 last Wednesday. Brooklyn has gone 5-5 in its last 10 games despite trading G Kyrie Irving and F Kevin Durant recently.

The Bulls lost 112-100 to the Milwaukee Bucks last Thursday and were unable to cover as 7.5-point underdogs at home. Chicago is on a 6-game losing streak.

This will be the 4th meeting between the Nets and the Bulls this season. Chicago has covered the spread in 2 of the first 3 meetings despite Brooklyn winning the most-recent matchup while the Under has hit in all 3 meetings.

Nets at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 112, Bulls 109

Moneyline

The Bulls are expected to secure a victory at home, but I’ll take the NETS (+115) on the road. Chicago has struggled recently, and the roster has failed to perform well together, while Brooklyn still has a well-rounded roster sans Irving and Durant.

Against the spread

NETS +2.5 (-115) is the choice here despite Brooklyn’s moneyline likely having the better value at such a small spread. The Nets won by 11 just a couple of weeks ago against the Bulls despite Chicago having its usual trio of F DeMar DeRozan, G Zach LaVine and C Nikola Vucevic.

The Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss, and they are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Over/Under

UNDER 222.5 (-110) is the lean in this matchup with the Nets playing at a slower pace since trading Irving and Durant. The Under is also 9-1 in the last 10 meetings between these teams.

The Milwaukee Bucks (40-17) are going up against the Chicago Bulls (26-32) on Thursday at United Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Bucks vs. Bulls odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Bucks defeated the Boston Celtics 131-125 in overtime on Tuesday but failed to cover as 9.5-point favorites at home. Milwaukee is on an 11-game winning streak.

The Bulls lost 117-113 to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday and were unable to cover as 2.5-point road underdogs. Chicago is on a 5-game losing skid.

This will be the third meeting between the Bulls and the Bucks this season. The Bulls won outright as underdogs in the first 2 meetings and the Over hit in both games.

Bucks at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 121, Bulls 112

Moneyline

PASS.

Even with the Bucks expected to cruise to a win on the road, it’s not worth taking Milwaukee (-320) at the current odds due to the minimal return.

Against the spread

Assuming that Antetokounmpo is active, BUCKS -7.5 (-118) is the ideal choice in this matchup. This is the final game for both teams before the All-Star break and Milwaukee is only 1 game behind the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games and the Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Over/Under

OVER 229.5 (-115) is how to play the total in this matchup assuming the Bucks have most of their starters available. There were 231 or more points scored in each of the first 2 meetings and Milwaukee has scored 123-plus points in 6 of its last 10 games.

The Bucks are 4-1 to the Over in their last 5 games following an ATS loss.

Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Chicago Bulls (26-31) take on the Indiana Pacers (25-34) on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Bulls vs. Pacers odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Bulls lost 100-91 to the Orlando Magic on Monday and failed to cover as 4-point favorites at home. Chicago is currently on a 4-game losing skid, both straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS).

The Pacers were defeated 123-117 by the Utah Jazz Monday and were unable to cover as 1-point home underdogs. Indiana has lost 5 games in a row and is 1-9 in its last 10 contests.

This is the third meeting between these teams this season. The home team won SU and ATS in the first 2 meetings as the Under connected in both.

Bulls at Pacers picks and predictions

Prediction

Pacers 116, Bulls 112

Moneyline

With DeRozan sidelined for the Bulls, I’ll side with the PACERS (-140) at home. Indiana is 17-14 at home compared to Chicago being 10-19 on the road.

Against the spread

PACERS -2.5 (-110) is the pick in this contest with the Bulls playing shorthanded. Even if Turner is out for Indiana again, G Tyrese Haliburton, G Buddy Hield, and G Bennedict Mathurin are enough to secure the victory at home.

The Bulls are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 road meetings against the Pacers.

Over/Under

While this is a pace-up game for the Bulls, UNDER 230.5 (-110) is the lean in this matchup. Both of these teams are bottom 8 in offensive rating.

The Bulls have gone Under in each of their last 5 games overall. Meanwhile, the Under is 20-7 in the last 27 meetings in Indiana.

The Nets cruised to a 139-103 victory on Monday to cover as 11.5-point favorites on the road. Brooklyn is on a league-best 12-game winning streak.

The Bulls suffered a 145-134 overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday as they failed to cover as 4-point underdogs on the road. Chicago is on a 2-game losing streak and has lost 3 of its last 5 games.

  • C Andre Drummond (shoulder) probable

For most recent updates: Official NBA injury report.

Nets at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 126, Bulls 116

Moneyline

Go ahead and PASS on the moneyline in this game despite the Nets being favored on the road. The risk of taking Brooklyn to win on the road at the current odds isn’t worth the return.

Against the spread

NETS -5.5 (-105) is where I’m leaning given how well Brooklyn has been playing. Amid the team’s 12-game winning streak, the Nets have won 7 of those games by 6-plus points.

The Nets are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a win of 10-plus points. Also, the Nets are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road meetings against the Bulls.

Over/Under

All the trends point toward the Under being the ideal choice in this game, but I’ll take OVER 236.5 (-105) mainly due to the scoring potential of the Nets. Both of these teams are top 12 in true-shooting percentage this season.

The Bulls have gone Over in each of their last 4 games playing on 1 day of rest and they’ve gone Over in 5 of their last 6 games overall.

Analyzing Monday’s Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Chicago Bulls (16-20) take on the Cleveland Cavaliers (23-14)  Monday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Bulls vs. Cavaliers odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Bulls lost 103-102 to the Cavaliers on Saturday as they pushed as 1-point underdogs at home. Chicago has won 5 of its last 7 games entering Monday’s rematch in Cleveland.

Caris LaVert scored 23 points as the Cavaliers defeated the Bulls for the 2nd time this season (128-96 on Oct. 22). The win ended a 3-game losing streak for Cleveland.

  • G Alex Caruso (shoulder) probable

Cavaliers

  • G Darius Garland (thumb) doubtful
  • F Evan Mobley (ankle) questionable

For most recent updates: Official NBA injury report.

Bulls at Cavaliers picks and predictions

Prediction

Cavaliers 115, Bulls 109

Moneyline

I wouldn’t recommend taking the Cavaliers to win at the current odds as I’d PASS on the moneyline unless it changes to -150 or better. Even though I don’t advise taking the moneyline at the current odds, taking Cleveland to win in a parlay at the current odds is fine.

Against the spread

CAVALIERS -4.5 (-102) is where I’m leaning in this game as Cleveland plays much better at home. The Cavaliers are 16-4 at home compared to the Bulls being 7-11 on the road.

Over/Under

It was a low-scoring game on Saturday between the Bulls and the Cavaliers, but OVER 221.5 (-105) is an enticing wager. G Donovan Mitchell scored only 15 points in Saturday’s meeting and I expect him to have a much better performance on Monday.

The Cavaliers have hit the Over in each of their last 4 home games. Also, the Over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between the Bulls and the Cavaliers when the game is in Cleveland.

Knicks at Bulls picks and predictions

Prediction

Knicks 114, Bulls 109

Moneyline

Given how both of these teams have been playing recently, KNICKS (+145) is an intriguing wager at the current odds. New York has won 6 of its last 10 matchups against Chicago.

Against the spread

KNICKS +4.5 (-115) is where I’m going in this game considering that I’m taking New York to win straight up. The Knicks have been playing solid recently, though, if Brunson is out, then the spread will likely go in favor of the Bulls more.

The Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games and the Knicks have covered the spread in 5 of their last 7 games.

Over/Under

All signs point toward UNDER 224.5 (-105) being the ideal choice in this game. The Knicks and the Bulls have reached 225-plus points only twice in the last 10 meetings.

The Knicks have hit the Under in each of their last 6 games while the Bulls are 6-1-1 to the Under in their last 8 home games. Also, the Under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between New York and Chicago.

Bulls at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 114, Bulls 106

Moneyline

Go ahead and PASS on the moneyline in this game. The Bucks (-290) are favored at home and have won 8 of the last 10 meetings against the Bulls, but taking them straight up at their current odds isn’t worth the risk.

Against the spread

BUCKS -6.5 (-115) is an intriguing wager with F Giannis Antetokounmpo expected to be active despite dealing with a knee issue. Even with the Bulls securing an impressive win over the Celtics Monday, I expect the Bucks to perform well at home Wednesday.

Milwaukee is 6-1 ATS in the team’s last 7 home games against a team with a losing road record and Chicago is 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games against Milwaukee.

Over/Under

Even though I always root for high-scoring games, UNDER 220.5 (-110) seems like the ideal choice in this contest. Both of these teams have a combined 12-21 record to the Under so far this season.

The Under is 7-0 in the last 7 meetings between the Bulls and the Bucks in Milwaukee and the Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings overall. Plus, the Bulls are 6-1 to the Under in their last 7 games while the Bucks are 7-0 to the Under in their last 7 games following a win.

Chicago Bulls at Boston Celtics odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Chicago Bulls at Boston Celtics and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Chicago Bulls (27-13) visit Beantown Saturday to play the Boston Celtics (21-22) at the TD Garden. The tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Bulls vs. Celtics odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Both teams played last night (Friday) as Chicago got pummeled by the Golden State Warriors 138-96 for a second straight loss, and Boston was defeated 111-99 by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Over the past two weeks, the Bulls are 4-3 straight-up (SU), 2-5 ATS and 4-3 O/U with the 22nd-ranked adjusted net rating at a minus-5.7, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

In the last 14 days, the Celtics are 4-3 SU, 2-5 ATS and 4-3 O/U with the 10th-best adjusted net rating at a plus-4.0, per CTG.

The Bulls (+3) upset the Celtics 128-114 in Boston in their first meeting this season, Nov. 1.

Bulls at Celtics odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Celtics 109, Bulls 97

Money line

PASS since I cannot back the Bulls (+190) with their injury report, and the Celtics (-240) is way out of my price range for a regular-season favorite.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to the CELTICS -5.5 (-120) for a half-unit because of Chicago’s injury report, and Boston should’ve won the first meeting between these two.

The Celtics outscored the Bulls in each of the first three quarters in their Nov. 1 meeting, but Chicago stole the game, in Boston, with a 39-11 fourth quarter.

That kind of loss sticks with a team and should motivate the Celtics even against a banged-up Bulls side.

Furthermore, the Celtics are 13-7-1 ATS versus teams with a winning record and match up even better against the Bulls with no LaVine in the lineup.

For instance, Chicago is going to play through SF DeMar DeRozan, who likes to isolate and operate in the midrange.

DeRozan erupted for a game-high 37 points on 75.0% shooting (FG%) in the first Bulls-Celtics meeting.

But, Boston gets to focus more of its defensive bandwidth on DeRozan with LaVine out of the lineup.

Also, Boston’s defense ranks second in efficiency versus iso-ball and sixth in defensive FG% versus mid-range jumpers (CTG).

However, I can only “LEAN” to the CELTICS -5.5 (-120) because technically this isn’t a good spot for them.

Boston is 7-11 ATS as a home favorite with a minus-4.1 ATS margin and 1-6 ATS in the last seven games as a favorite.

Over/Under

BET the UNDER 216.5 (-115) because Chicago is 1-7 O/U as a road underdog with a minus-6.0 total margin, Boston is 7-11 O/U as a home favorite with a minus-4.1 total margin and the Under has cashed in four of the last five Bulls-Celtics meetings.

On top of that, Chicago’s offense will be less effective without LaVine, and it could be in serious trouble if Ball misses Saturday. Boston ranks 22nd in offensive rating this month, but fourth in defensive rating.

The UNDER 216.5 (-115) is my favorite wager in the Bulls-Celtics game.

Golden State Warriors at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Friday’s Golden State Warriors at Chicago Bulls and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Golden State Warriors (30-11) stop by the Windy City Friday to play the Chicago Bulls (27-12) at United Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Warriors vs. Bulls odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Golden State lost two straight road games, falling at the Memphis Grizzlies 116-108 Tuesday and at the Milwaukee Bucks 118-99 Thursday.

Chicago has lost two of its past three games, both by double digits, with the most recent being a 138-112 beatdown at home Wednesday administered by the Brooklyn Nets.

The Warriors crushed the Bulls 119-93 in their first meeting this season as 5.5-point home favorites Nov. 12 with the Under cashing on a 223-point total.

Warriors at Bulls odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Bulls 116, Warriors 107

Money line

PASS. I’d love to bet the Bulls straight up, but Chicago (-165) is a little too expensive, especially against a team as good as the Warriors even though Golden State has played horrible recently.

Against the spread

BET 1 unit on the BULLS -3.5 (-115) because Golden State and PG Steph Curry have struggled in January. The Warriors are just 3-4 overall and 2-5 ATS this month with the 19th-ranked net rating at minus-3.1.

Curry is scoring just 21.2 points per game on 33.7% shooting (27.5% from behind the arc) with a minus-13 net rating in January. Also, Golden State was obliterated by Milwaukee Thursday night and just doesn’t have all its ducks in a row.

The Bulls are 4-2 in January with the 11th-best net rating at plus-3.5. Granted, Chicago hasn’t beaten any tough teams but it is 5-4 ATS at home against teams with a winning record.

Furthermore, the Warriors are missing two of their championship core (Green and Thompson) and a solid defensive role player (Payton), who would be helping out against Bulls’ wings DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine.

Effectively, Golden State is missing three players that would be instrumental in its defensive game plan versus Chicago’s two leading scorers.

We know what Draymond and Klay’s absence means to the Warriors, but Payton is in the 72nd percentile of combo guards on adjusted on/off net rating at plus-4.6.

Lastly, this is just a better spot for Chicago, which is 11-5 ATS as a home favorite, including 5-1 ATS in its last six as a home favorite, while Golden State is 0-4 ATS in its last four on the road.

CHICAGO -3.5 (-115) is my favorite wager in this game.

Over/Under

PASS with a slight lean toward the Over 221.5 (-108) because my prediction isn’t far different than the projected total. The Bulls are 16-10-1 O/U as home favorites and the Warriors are 4-3 O/U as road underdogs.

However, Golden State’s offense has been terrible this month, owning the second-worst offensive rating in the league. For the season, the Warriors have played the highest rate of Unders in the NBA at 13-26-2 O/U.

Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Wednesday’s Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (25-14) travel to the Windy City Wednesday for a 10 p.m. ET tip-off with the Chicago Bulls (27-11) at the United Center. Below, we look at the Nets vs. Bulls odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Brooklyn has alternated between winning and losing over the past five games most recently losing at the Portland Trail Blazers 114-108 as 8.5-point road favorites. It was Kyrie Irving‘s second game back, and Kyrie scored 22 points on 42.9% shooting with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Over the past two weeks, the Nets are 2-5 straight-up (SU), 0-7 ATS and 3-4 O/U with the 23rd-ranked non-garbage time net rating at minus-6.1 points per 100 possessions, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

The Bulls (-13.5) clobbered the Detroit Pistons last night (Tuesday) 133-87 for Chicago’s 10th win in the last 11 games.

In the last 14 days, the Bulls are 6-1 SU, 3-4 ATS and 3-4 O/U with the fifth-best non-garbage time net rating at plus-8.4 points per 100 possessions, per CTG.

Chicago has won and covered against Brooklyn in their first two meetings this season. The Under has cashed in six consecutive Nets-Bulls games.

Nets at Bulls odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Money line

“LEAN” to the BULLS (-130) because they are being backed by presumably sharp money while the Nets (+105) are the public side.

According to Pregame.com, Chicago’s money line has been steamed up from the -125 opener.

Furthermore, the Bulls are healthier and more in-sync than the Nets. Kyrie goes in and out of the lineup based on his opponent location’s COVID policies, and Harden is dealing with a knee injury.

On the other hand, Chicago has all three of its former All-Stars (DeMar DeRozanZach LaVine and Nikola Vučević) in the lineup along with floor general and first-year PG Lonzo Ball.

There were questions about how these new pieces would gel for the Bulls, but considering Chicago is first-place in the Eastern Conference, the Bulls are one of the biggest first-half surprises in the NBA.

I only “LEAN” to the BULLS (-130) because I’d rather wait to see Brooklyn’s official starting 5 before placing a wager.

Against the spread

PASS since Chicago’s money line is only 10 cents on the dollar more expensive than the Bulls -1.5 (-120) so there’s no point in fussing with the spread here.

For what it’s worth, Chicago is 11-5 ATS as a home favorite, and Brooklyn is 3-1 ATS as a road underdog.

Over/Under

BET the UNDER 233.5 (-107) for 1 unit as a fade against this line movement. The Nets-Bulls look-ahead total was set at 231 but has been steamed all the way up to 233.5.

Both teams have a bottom-six 3-point attempt rate, and the Under has cashed in Chicago’s last five meetings with teams above-.500.

Also, the Nets are 6-12 O/U versus teams with a winning record, and the Bulls are 6-9 O/U against teams with a winning record.
