Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Monday’s Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Philadelphia 76ers (43-21) play the second of a three-game road trip Monday night against the Chicago Bulls (26-38). Tip-off is at 9 pm. ET at the United Center. Below, we analyze the 76ers-Bulls odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The 76ers beat the San Antonio Spurs 113-111 Sunday on the road for their fourth consecutive win. They hold a half-game lead in the East over the Brooklyn Nets.

The Bulls lost Saturday 108-97 to the Atlanta Hawks for their third straight loss and fourth in five games. They cling to hopes to make the play-in games, sitting in 12th place in the East, three games behind the 10th-seeded Washington Wizards with eight games left in the season.

76ers at Bulls: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

76ers 110, Bulls 99

Money line (ML)

The 76ers, as good as they have been this season, have relatively struggled on the road. They are 18-14 away from home, but the Bulls struggle at home, where they are only 12-19 on their home court. The 76ers have won four in a row and the Bulls are on a three-game losing streak. It is chalky but expect a Philly win. Take the 76ERS (-275).

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Philadelphia is 14-16-2 ATS on the road this season and has failed to cover the spread in their last three road contests. The Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last five games but are 33-31 ATS overall. However, at the United Center, they are only 13-18 ATS. They scored 98 or fewer points in three straight games and will struggle to keep up with a healthy 76ers team. Take the 76ERS -7 (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

Both teams go Under more often than they go Over this season. The 76ers actually have the second-lowest Over percentage on the road this season at 37.5%. Add in Chicago’s low 41.9% home Over percentage, and you have a recipe for a relatively low-scoring game. The Bulls are averaging exactly 100 points per game in their last five contests. Take UNDER 215.5 POINTS (-110).

Chicago Bulls at Miami Heat odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Chicago Bulls at Miami Heat NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Chicago Bulls (25-34) are in South Beach Friday for an 8 p.m. ET game with the host Miami Heat (31-29) at American Airlines Arena. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Heat odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Chicago has won three of the last four games (3-1 against the spread) with the latest game being a 108-91 home victory over the Charlotte Hornets Thursday.

Before this stretch, the Bulls were on a five-game losing skid from April 9-16 (0-5 ATS). Chicago has slid to 11th in the Eastern Conference, 1 game behind 10th place Washington Wizards for the final postseason play-in entry.

Miami had its three-game winning streak snapped in a 118-103 beatdown last night by the Atlanta Hawks as 6.5-point road favorites.

The 7th place Heat are trying to play their way out of play-in postseason status since seeds seven through 10 participate in the play-in tournament.

The Heat trounced the Bulls in their first meeting this season, 101-90, as 2-point road favorites.

Bulls at Heat: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 12:10 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Bulls +155 (bet $100 to win $155) | Heat -190 (bet $190 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Bulls +4.5 (-110) | Heat -4.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: 205.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Bulls at Heat: Key injuries

Bulls

  • SF Patrick Williams (heel) probable

Bulls at Heat: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Heat 109, Bulls 97

Money line (ML)

PASS because Miami should get a W tonight, but the Heat (-190) is a little out of my price range.

Also, Miami’s blowout loss to an Atlanta team last night without its leading scorer and assist man (Trae Young) and leading rebounder (Clint Capela) is further proof of the randomness in the NBA this season.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

“LEAN” to the HEAT -4.5 (-110) for a half unit because beat the Bulls by 11 points in their first meeting despite a now-injured LaVine scored an efficient 30 points on 10-for-16 shooting with 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

LaVine’s absence, Miami’s motivation after last night’s embarrassing loss and the Heat winning three straight against the Bulls by at least five points are too strong of angles.

That being said, Miami is 2-6 ATS when playing with a rest disadvantage and 9-13-1 ATS as a home favorite while Chicago is 14-6 ATS as a road dog.

Over/Under (O/U)

Slight “LEAN” to the UNDER 205.5 (-110) for a quarter unit because BetMGM has a really sharp total for Bulls-Heat.

However, the Under has cashed in five of six Bulls-Heat meetings, in three of Miami’s past four games and in three of Chicago’s past four games.

Also, we are getting to this party a little late as the Bulls-Heat opened with a 210-point total, but it has been steamed down because of the pro-Under action.

Furthermore, this is a “pros vs. Joes” situation in the betting market as the money (“pros”) are on the Under while there have been more bets placed (“average Joe”) on the Under, according to Pregame.com.

Charlotte Hornets at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Thursday’s Charlotte Hornets at Chicago Bulls NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Charlotte Hornets (28-29) visit the Windy City Thursday for a 9 p.m. ET game against the Chicago Bulls (24-34) at United Center. Below, we analyze the Hornets-Bulls odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Charlotte lost four of its past five games and went 1-4 against the spread, including a 109-97 loss to the New York Knicks as a 5-point road underdog Tuesday.

The Hornets are eighth in the Eastern Conference, 4 games ahead of the 11-seed Toronto Raptors. Seeds 7-10 from each conference participate in the postseason play-in tournament.

The 12th-place Bulls have fallen 1 game back of Washington for that final play-in seed thanks to a 2-6 straight-up and ATS stretch over their last eight games. Chicago had a two-game winning streak snapped Wednesday in a 121-105 blowout loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers as a 2-point road favorite.

The Bulls routed the Hornets 123-110 in their first meeting this season Jan. 22. Chicago outscored Charlotte in all four quarters and SG Zach LaVine scoring an efficient 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting with 6 rebounds and 9 assists.

Hornets at Bulls: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 11:05 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Hornets +100 (bet $100 to win $100) | Bulls -120 (bet $120 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Hornets +1.5 (-115) | Bulls -1.5 (-105)
  • Over/Under: 209.5 (O: -115 | U: -105)

Hornets at Bulls: Key injuries

Hornets

  • PG LaMelo Ball (wrist) out
  • SF Gordon Hayward (foot) out
  • SG Malik Monk (ankle) out

Bulls

Hornets at Bulls: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Hornets 107, Bulls 101

Money line (ML)

Slight “LEAN” to the HORNETS (+100) for a quarter unit if at all because Charlotte plus the points is a better wager.

Charlotte is the best close-game team in the Association, which is a factor for me if BetMGM is projecting Hornets-Bulls to be decided by a single possession.

The Hornets are 16-8 with the highest net rating (plus-34.0) in the league in clutch situations whereas the Bulls are 12-19 overall with the 22nd-ranked net rating (minus-8.7) in those situations, and their All-Star is out due to injury.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Definitely BET the HORNETS +1.5 (-115) heavier than or instead of Charlotte’s money line because this would be considered a “good spot” for Charlotte.

The Hornets are 10-2 ATS in road games vs. teams with a losing record while the Bulls are 6-7 ATS as a home favorite and 1-5 ATS in their last six games played on no rest.

Over/Under (O/U)

Slight “LEAN” to the UNDER 209.5 (-105) for a quarter unit because of all the missing firepower between both teams and a few favorable trends.

For instance, the Under has cashed in seven of Charlotte’s previous eight games as an underdog and five of Chicago’s last six as a home favorite.

Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Chicago Bulls (24-33) visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (20-37) at United Center at 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Cavaliers odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Bulls picked up a 102-96 win on the road against the Boston Celtics on Monday as 4.5-point underdogs.

More importantly, they pushed past the Cavaliers on Saturday by a 106-96 score as 3-point favorites as the Under (213) connected.

The Cavaliers are skidding again, losing and failing to cover in three in a row, including that game in Chicago on Saturday. The Under is 3-0-1 in the past four, pushing in Monday’s 109-105 loss at Detroit.

Bulls at Cavaliers: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:55 a.m. ET.

Bulls at Cavaliers: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bulls 108, Cavaliers 101

Money line (ML)

The BULLS (-135) are playing much better basketball lately, and they’re the play straight up against the skidding Cavaliers (+110).

They just topped Cleveland by 10 in Chitown on Saturday, and there is no reason to believe this rematch will go another way.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The BULLS -2 (-110) have covered in two in a row against the Cavs and Celtics, and they should be able to build upon their momentum from the giant win in Beantown last time out.

The Cavaliers +2 (-110) have been dumped in three straight, and they’re 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS across the past six. There is just no reason to believe in the erratic Cavs at this point.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 211.5 (-110) is the lean here, as the Under has cashed for both sides on a frequent basis lately.

The Under has hit in each of Chicago’s past two wins, and in their past eight victories, the Under has hit in seven of the outings. The Under is 3-0-1 in Cleveland’s past four, and each of the previous two meetings in this series.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (20-35) visit the Chicago Bulls (22-33) at United Center at 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Cavaliers-Bulls odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Cavaliers have been rather erratic lately, finding tremendous success on the road, while struggling on their home floor. Since April 5, Cleveland is 3-0 SU/ATS in away games, while going 0-3 SU/1-2 ATS in three contests at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The Bulls are coming off a 126-115 licking from the Memphis Grizzlies, and Chicago is on a five-game skid while also going 0-5 ATS. The last time these teams faced each other in Chi-Town, the Cavs came away with a 103-94 win as 7.5-point underdogs.

Cavaliers at Bulls: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Cavaliers 111, Bulls 107

Money line (ML)

The CAVALIERS (+105) are worth playing straight up, as they have been money on the road with three straight away victories in San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Charlotte since April 5.

The Bulls (-125) were also topped by the Cavs 103-94 at United Center on March 24, and Cleveland is a lot healthier this time around.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Playing the Cavaliers +1.5 (-110) catching the point-and-a-half doesn’t make much sense vs. playing the money line. You win more on the ML, and unless you absolutely feel Chicago will win by just one point, there is no reason to play the spread.

PASS.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 212.5 (-110) is the best play on the board in this matchup. The Over has cashed in five of the past seven games for the Cavs and four of the past five for the Bulls.

Previewing Wednesday’s Orlando Magic at Chicago Bulls NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Orlando Magic (17-37) visit the Chicago Bulls (22-31) at United Center at 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Magic-Bulls odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Magic enter on a six-game slide, and they’re just 2-4 ATS during the stretch. They have been destroyed in their past two games, falling 124-87 to Milwaukee and 120-97 to San Antonio April 11-12.

These teams split a back-to-back in Orlando in the only previous meeting this season, with the Magic winning  123-119 as 2.5-point underdogs Feb. 5, and the Bulls winning 118-92 as a two-point ‘dog Feb. 6.

The Bulls are coming off a 101-90 loss at Memphis, and they’re on an 0-3 SU/ATS skid after a 3-0 SU/ATS win streak from April 4-8.

Magic at Bulls: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bulls 110, Magic 103

Money line (ML)

Laying four-and-a-half times your potential return on Bulls (-450) is a rather risky proposition, as Chicago is on a three-game slide. Regardless of their  streak, you can’t play money lines this high and expect to make money over the long haul.

AVOID.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The MAGIC +9.5 (-110) have dropped six in a row, but they have covered seven of the past 10 as an underdog of five or more points. The Magic have also covered four of the past five games on the road.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 218.5 (-105) is worth a look, and if you are a trend bettor, you’ll like this info. The Under is 21-6 in the past 27 meetings, including 7-0 in the past seven meetings in Chicago.

The Under is also 7-0 in Chicago’s past seven at home and 6-2 in their past eight as a favorite.

Chicago Bulls at Memphis Grizzlies odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Monday’s Chicago Bulls at Memphis Grizzlies NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Memphis Grizzlies (26-25) host the Chicago Bulls (22-30) Monday at the FedExForum for a 9 p.m. ET game. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Grizzlies odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Chicago dropped its second straight game last night to the Minnesota Timberwolves 121-117 as 3.5-point road favorites.

This is the final of a five-game road trip for the Bulls, who split the first four 2-2 overall and against the spread.

Memphis also lost last night for a second consecutive game, to the Indiana Pacers, 132-125 as 3.5-point home favorites.

The Grizzlies 5-3 overall and 6-2 ATS in the past two weeks with three straight impressive road wins against the Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks from April 4-7.

The Bulls have won and covered their last six meetings with the Grizzlies, but they haven’t played since Dec. 2019.

Bulls at Grizzlies: Odds, spread and lines

Bulls at Grizzlies: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Grizzlies 120, Bulls 114

Money line (ML)

PASS with a slight “lean” to the Grizzlies (-140) because I’d entertain putting them in a parlay with the Philadelphia 76ers’ money line but probably wouldn’t lay the -140 with Memphis.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

BET GRIZZLIES -2.5 (-110) for 1 unit because Chicago has to be road weary and Memphis could be getting back a couple of quality role players.

The Bulls have done a lot of traveling lately, and this will be their ninth road game in the last 10. The Grizzlies have the third-highest scoring bench in the Association.

Also, Chicago has been terrible this season against teams top-10 in defensive efficiency. According to CleaningTheGlass.com, the Bulls are 1-15 overall with the second-worst points per 100 possessions differential and second-worst ATS margin vs. top-10 defenses.

Finally, Memphis beats up on Eastern Conference opponents; the Grizzlies are 15-7 ATS with a plus-3.3-point ATS margin vs. non-conference opponents.

Over/Under (O/U)

Slight “LEAN” to the OVER 228.5 (-110) for a quarter-unit because both teams are top-10 in pace.

Plus Memphis’ offense should have a lot of success vs. Chicago, but the Grizzlies’ defense has gotten lit up recently by above-average 3-point shooting teams, which the Bulls are as well.

The Grizzlies are first in points off of turnovers and paint points per game while the Bulls allow the third-most points off of turnovers and fourth-most paint points per game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (13-40) host the Chicago Bulls (22-29) Sunday at Target Center for an 8 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Timberwolves odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Chicago had its three-game winning streak snapped Thursday in a 120-108 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The Bulls are 3-4 straight up over their past seven games, but six of those games were on the road and Chicago is 5-2 against the spread in those contests.

Minnesota blew a 17-point lead in Thursday’s 145-136 loss at the Boston Celtics to push on the spread as a 9-point underdog. The T-Wolves are 2-5 straight up but 4-2-1 ATS in their last seven games.

The Bulls won their first meeting of the season with the Timberwolves 133-126 in overtime and covered as 4.5-point favorites.

Bulls at Timberwolves: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bulls 125, Timberwolves 117

Money line (ML)

PASS, however, I’m all about parlaying Bulls (-190) with the Memphis Grizzlies’ money line for a plus-money payout.

That’s me being greedy. Me being smart passes on Chicago’s money line because it’s too much chalk for a regular-season favorite to win outright.

Against the spread (ATS)

Usually, I’d be fading an unproven BULLS -4.5 (-110) team laying points on the road to a Timberwolves squad that’s been a feisty underdog at home, but there are some interesting narratives between the two teams that lead me in the direction of Chicago.

First, this is Bulls All-Star SG Zach LaVine’s “revenge game” against the T-Wolves. Minnesota drafted and rostered LaVine for his first three seasons.

LaVine went off for 39 points in the first half of Chicago’s loss to the Hawks Thursday and is having a career year in the midst of Chicago’s playoff hunt. He gets the chance to rub his former employer’s nose in it tonight.

Second, there’s an awesome big vs. big matchup with T-Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns facing off with newly acquired Bulls C Nikola Vucevic.

Both centers are elite offensively and whoever wins this matchup greatly improves his team’s chances of winning. Vucevic is having a career year and has been playing great ball lately. Big vs. big edge: Chicago, slightly.

TAKE BULLS -4.5 (-110) for 1 unit.

Over/Under (O/U)

Slight “LEAN” to the OVER 231.5 (-110) for a quarter-unit. These teams both play uptempo and chuck a bunch of threes.

I see a fun back-and-forth matchup that’ll be a lot more entertaining than the billing would suggest; however, this is only a hunch hence the lower-unit wager.

Chicago Bulls at Toronto Raptors odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Thursday’s Chicago Bulls at Toronto Raptors NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Toronto Raptors (20-31) host the Chicago Bulls (21-28) Thursday at their 2020-21 season home of Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. Tip-off will be at 7:30 p.m. ET as the Bulls try to keep a leg up on the Raps for the final spot in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Raptors odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Bulls and Raptors are 10th and 11th, respectively, in the East. They met March 14 in Chicago with the Bulls winning 118-95 as 3.5-point home favorites.

Chicago enters this game off of back-to-back wins over the Brooklyn Nets (115-107) and Indiana Pacers (113-97). Those victories followed a six-game losing skid.

Toronto is coming off a 110-101 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday. It has previously won back-to-back games over the Golden State Warriors (130-77) and Washington Wizards (103-101).

Bulls at Raptors: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bulls 112, Raptors 105

Money line (ML)

The BULLS (-175) are an auto-click against a Raptors team desperately struggling and remaining without its starting backcourt duo of Lowry and VanVleet. Chicago is expected to be near full health.

Nikola Vucevic is averaging 22.7 points per game with 10.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists over six games with Chicago since being acquired at the trade deadline. He poses a big mismatch against the Raps’ front court, especially if Siakam is any less than fully healthy.

Against the spread (ATS)

Get better value with the BULLS -4 (-110) by backing the visitors to win by at least 5 points.

They covered by 19.5 points as 3.5-point favorites against the Raps earlier this season, and they’re 4-0 ATS in their last four games as road favorites. Toronto covered the spread in just one of its last seven games.

The Bulls are strong on the glass, especially on the offensive end, and they’re sixth in 3-point defense for the season. The Raptors get by on chucking 3-pointers at the third-highest rate in the league, but they’re already hitting at a league-low 23.8% clip over their last five games.

Over/Under (O/U)

Take the UNDER 221.5 (-110) with Chicago’s defense matching up well against what Toronto tries to do on offense.

The Bulls have played to the Under in three straight games, and the Raptors had hit three straight Unders before sneaking over a low 208-point projection with the Lakers Tuesday.

Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Tuesday’s Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Indiana Pacers (22-26) host the Central Division rival Chicago Bulls (20-28) Tuesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bulls-Pacers odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

Chicago snapped a six-game losing skid (2-4 against the spread) by upsetting the Brooklyn Nets 115-107 as a 2.5-point home underdog Sunday. Indiana’s 139-133 overtime victory over the San Antonio Spurs Saturday stopped its three-game losing skid.

The Pacers were without All-Star PF Domantas Sabonis and leading scorer PG Malcolm Brogdon in the win against San Antonio. Over the past two weeks, Indiana is 3-3 straight up and 2-4 ATS.

This is the rubber match between the Bulls and the Pacers as these teams split their first two meetings of the season. Chicago won the most recent matchup 120-112 in overtime as a 4.5-point road dog Feb. 15.

At the moment, Indiana and Chicago are neck-and-neck in the Eastern Conference standings and occupying the final two spots (9-and 10-seed) of the postseason play-in tournament.

  • Money line: Bulls -115 (bet $115 to win $100) | Pacers -105 (bet $105 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Bulls -1 (-115) | Pacers +1 (-105)
  • Over/Under: 225.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Bulls at Pacers: Key injuries

Bulls

  • PG Coby White (neck) probable
  • SG Garrett Temple (hamstring) out
  • PF Daniel Theis (personal) out

Pacers

  • PG Malcolm Brogdon (hip) questionable
  • PF Domantas Sabonis (ankle) questionable
  • SG Jeremy Lamb (toe) questionable

Bulls at Pacers: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bulls 116, Pacers 110

Money line (ML)

If Sabonis misses Tuesday’s game, Bulls SG Zach LaVine becomes the best player on the floor and Chicago’s frontcourt should feast in the paint.

Bulls PF Thaddeus Young specifically would be a matchup nightmare for Indiana who is projected to start forward Doug McDermott in Sabonis’ place and Chicago’s newly acquired All-Star C Nikola Vucevic is already fitting in with his new teammates.

BET BULLS (-115) for 1 unit.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

PASS unless the Bulls become 2.5-point or greater underdogs at which point you should take the points.

This is a much better spot for Chicago. The Bulls are 11-5 ATS in road games against teams with a losing record while the Pacers have the third-worst cover rate as home favorites (5-12 ATS) and are 2-9 ATS at home against teams with a losing record.

Over/Under (O/U)

Slight “LEAN” to the OVER 225.5 (-110) for one-fifth of a unit if at all because Chicago is 10-7 O/U as a road dog, Indiana is 10-7 O/U as a home favorite and both Bulls-Pacers meetings earlier this season went Over the projected total.
