CHASE ELLIOTT (+1200) is a value play at this price as you’ll multiply your wager by 12. That’s a great return on a guy who has won one-third of the 6 NASCAR Cup Series races on the ROVAL.

Elliott flamed out at Talladega last week, finishing 29th, dropping him to 8th in the playoff standings. He is just 13 points above the cut line, ahead of Team Penske’s Joey Logano.

Elliott needs a strong run on the ROVAL, and he should get it to not only stay in the playoffs, but perhaps grab checkers for a record 3rd time at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course.

Bank of America ROVAL 400 – Contender

CHRISTOPHER BELL (+1400) is a solid value at this price point. He won the 2022 installment, and in 4 career Cup Series ROVAL starts, he has 2 top-10 finishes, a 12.0 AFP, 17 laps led and a 90.5 Average Driver Rating.

Bell goes off from the 12th starting position Sunday, so that’s a bit of a drawback. We’ve only had 1 driver, Elliott on Sept. 29, 2019, start from 11th or higher while picking up checkers.

CHRISTOPHER BELL (+1000) is a strong value going off from the pole. He already has a victory at the ROVAL last season, and in 3 career starts, he has turned in an AFP of 11.0.

In the 5 Cup races at the ROVAL, we’ve already had 1 repeat winner (Elliott). In addition, starting position matters. While there has never been a winner from the pole, 4 of the 5 winners have come from a starting position of 10th or higher.

2023 Bank of America ROVAL 400 – Long shot

ALEX BOWMAN (+3800) hasn’t won on the ROVAL, but he has also never finished lower than 10th place in 4 career Cup starts on the setup.

Bowman hasn’t had a lot of success lately after a fairly decent start to the season. He was inside the top 10 on 6 occasions in 8 starts from late February through mid-March. However, he has been 12th or higher in 17 of his past 20 starts. He is still a good value based on his successful runs on the Charlotte road course, although more conservative bettors will probably want to play BOWMAN TOP-10 FINISH (whatever the odds are) for a more likely result.
