Charlie Woerner runs 40 yard dash at NFL Combine

Former Georgia football tight end Charlie Woerner clocks in for his official 40 yard dash time at the 2020 NFL Combine on Thursday.

Former UGA tight end Charlie Woerner ran his official NFL Combine 40-yard-dash this Thursday.

The 6’5″ 245lb Woerner ran an impressive time for a tight end of his size.

Woerner clocked in for an official second time of 4.78 seconds.

Woerner then moved to the “over the shoulder” drill and blocking sled, in which he performed very well, according to sources.

Other tight ends clocked between 4.66 and 4.96, placing Woerner right in the middle of the mix.  Woerner also had an impressive bench press performance at 21 reps, giving him a very solid day overall.
