2025 4-star cornerback includes LSU in top 10

One of the top cornerbacks in the 2025 recruiting class has narrowed his list of final schools down to just 10 schools. [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] and the LSU Tigers are still in the mix.

[autotag]Charles Bass[/autotag] is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound, 4-star cornerback from East Saint Louis, Missouri, where he plays for East St. Louis High School. The East St. Louis Flyers finished the 2023 season 10-3 with a loss to Cary-Grove in the 6A state championship game.

LSU joins Michigan, Oregon, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Texas A&M and Kansas are the final 10 schools that are still in the running to land Bass.

There are currently no Crystal Ball projections for Bass but Missouri is a 49% favorite to land him per On3. LSU’s 2025 recruiting class is currently ranked as the No. 3 class in the country by 247Sports. The class is headlined by two five-star players, [autotag]Dakorien Moore[/autotag] and [autotag]Bryce Underwood[/autotag]. Bass would be a great addition to the class.

[autotag]Charles Bass[/autotag] is a 6-foot-1, 185-pound, four-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class who plays for East St. Louis High School. The East St. Louis Flyers finished the 2023 season 10-3 with a loss to Cary-Grove in the 6A state championship game.

There are no Crystal Ball projections at this time for Bass but Missouri is a 51% favorite to land him per On3.

Michigan football already dipped into East St. Louis for one recent offer, and it appears to remain busy in the region.

Despite being just a three-star, 2025 East St. Louis (Mo.) athlete Charles Bass has some impressive offers. That includes Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Purdue, and Tennessee. Bass is listed at 6-foot-2, 183-pounds, and judging by his offer sheet, he’ll keep rising up the ranks as he continues to garner interest across college football.

On Thursday, the Michigan Wolverines joined the fold, extending an offer to Bass, further indicating that he’ll become an elite prospect in the 2025 class.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Bass is rated No. 337 overall, the No. 26 athlete, and the 10th-best prospect in the state of Missouri.

Bass plays wide receiver, cornerback, and quarterback. He hasn’t posted his sophomore highlights, but here are his freshman highlights.

Michigan State football is joining a mix of power five schools expressing interest in 2025 athlete Charles Bass of St. Louis.

Bass announced on Saturday evening that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Bass hails from St. Louis and plays for East St. Louis High.

Bass has yet to be ranked on 247Sports, but that’ll change in time based on the schools already showing interest in his talents. Michigan State is the ninth school to extend him a scholarship offer, joining Arkansas, Colorado State, Illinois, Iowa State, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
